Kinetik (HC600-BLU) Black Power Cell Battery

I was very hesitant to pick this up, but I'm glad I did. I have a Lexus IS300 going for sound quality. This little battery is setup parallel with the main battery in the rear. The best part about this battery is that it fits perfectly with the mounting cage (sold separately) KMS-06 and mounted in right rear side of the trunk under the carpet. If you have an IS300 you know what I'm saying. My system goes like this: Fronts: DLS 6.5 Nordica Rear: none (Front stage only) Sub: AE iB15 Front amp: eD Nine.4 bridged 150w @ 4ohm each channel Sub amp: JH600 350w @ 4ohm single channel (temporary for testing) Hard to find a SQ 4ohm amp producing 500+ watts without spending $$$. Pros: Adds more than enough power to stablize a 500 watt system Car now idles smoothly Starts the car right up Small and mountable in any position Better than 2x 1 Farad caps hands down Cons: Can't think of any, unless you have a bigger system

Great product, I’m using inplace of a super cap, for a 4,000 watt sound system and runs my LEDs too. It takes away virtually all the heat that would be caused from a long wire with high amperage. I would recommend mounting it a maximum of 3 foot from your amp if you’re using it for a sound sound system. I’ve let my girl drive my car several times and every time she forgets all 10 feet of my LEDs on and every time this battery has saved my ass and kept my car from dying on me not only does it provide better cold cranking amps for your car but you can also not live in fear of your car battery dying on you. Because even if the battery for your motor goes dead this will still start it with well enough warning to replace your car battery.

Looks nice voltage is superb fit where i need and is strong. Great value. Weight is heavy but needs to be to help hold down so far battery life is good tell you more when o really use more. Thank you

Received battery today . I checked the voltage and it was resting at 12.8 . Got it installed . So far so good ! Guess we'll see how long it last 🤷. I'll do a update soon !!!

These batteries are great! I replaced my stock 675CCA battery with one of these and it was able to start and run great. I had 2 so I stacked them for additional capacity for the stereo. No light flicker, no issues starting. Also, 2 of these was still 5lbs lighter than my stock battery. Every pound counts right? The only issue I have was with fitment. I didn't expect it to fit directly but I thought they would be a little taller. I had to make a small wood block about 1.5" tall to raise them up a bit so the hold down would actually work. Also I bought SAE terminal adaptors which fit thread wise but I had to take the positive terminal to the grinder at the base to create a single flat edge to clear the plastic next to the terminal.

For the price to power ratio you cant beat this 600 watt battery. Installed it weeks ago and it’s been great.

I was skeptical because it is not the battery that causes the dimming entirely, the amplifier draws more amps than some cars can handle. I added a JL Audio HD 750/1 with two JL Audio 10tw3s in my girlfriends car which is small. The lights would dim under heavy load. They barely dim now, the longer the battery is in. If one is not running it under full load, the battery will charge enough to entirely prevent dimming if used moderately. If you are someone who will always go max output, I do not see this being a solution for you. Now, I use a JL Audio HD 1200/1 for my two 12W6s, as well as a JL Audio HD 600/4 for my mids and tweeters in my truck without any dimming issues stock. If you know about JL Audio HDs, they always put out the rated RMS no matter what the ohm resistance is from 1.5-4 ohm. I want to add another set of subs for certain frequencies and will be adding another 600 watts rms. I think I will get one of these to be safe!

The battery came charged voltage was 13.3 It’s nice and small this thing can even start your car if you want it to but I bought this for a stereo system it did the job how it’s supposed to my Jeep JL headlights aren’t dimming when the bass hits. Great affordable battery I would buy again. I also built a battery box for it so it stays in place while I drive around and I sprayed Bedliner spray paint for it.

Excellent battery. Compact size allows fitment just about anywhere. Much more powerful than I had expected. I ordered 2 for my commuter and will be ordering more for the rest of my vehicles.

This battery is the best thing since sliced bread. Works so much better than getting a power capacitor for my sound system. Oh by the way if you are thinking of getting this then just buy it don't give it a second thought you will not regret it.

Very happy. Both came with an acceptable charge. Perfect size to fit any vehicle.

Small in size let very powerful. Used it to boost my car. My original car battery was too dead to accept a charge from a 120AC battery charger. When I parallelled the new and older batteries -- the charger worked fine! The idea of spending over two-hundred-dollars to replace my original battery horrified me when this Kinetik BLU worked just fine.
