What does the back of the curtain look like? Is it printed like the front or is it plain/white?

You can see that print thru it , its not a " dark out" panel.

Is there a valance I can buy to match?

I just chose a solid color that was a seasonal fun color

Can this be used as shower curtain (liner will be used for inside shower area) ?

They’re not water proof. I guess you could use a plastic liner and spray them with Camp Dry. I would measure the length too.
