Ocean Aquarius Blue Surgical Binocular Loupes 3.5X 420mm Working Distance Optical Glass with LED Head Light Lamp+Aluminum Box(Blue)

I am a dentist and needed to replace my SheerVision light. My 3.5x loupes were old and I decided to try these loupes and light before paying >$600 for new loupes and >$400 for a new light. I am very pleased with the new loupes and I would give the loupes 5 stars. The light was not bright enough for intraoral use and I would give the light 2 stars. I ended up buying a "dental" intraoral light for my new loupes.

I'm a dental hygienist, I needed a pair of replacement loops. After cataract surgery my expensive loops needed to be adjusted. So, I purchased these hoping to get by for a month. The first day I struggled to find the right focus, but after playing with the magnification and adjusting the angle of the loops I managed to find the right spot. Now I have to say I actually love these loops. They are a bit on the heavy side compared to my expensive loops, but with the strap on the back it works. My nose doesn't get sore or red. For the price, it's a steal!

Opened the package and it contained the glasses the light no battery no charger was supposed to have a battery and a charger and because it didn't I can't use light other than that they are valued pretty cheaply they work pretty good it takes about 10 minutes to adjust them just right but once you've adjusted them then they're pretty firm and aren't going to get out of whack easily they are about half of the weight of most headlamps I bought them for looking at honeybee eggs and I'm sure with the headlamp they would work quite nicely but I don't have the headlamp so I will have to try to figure that part out on my own they have a range of about 3 in that is in focus each lens swivels horizontally the lenses get closer and farther apart and the overall setup rotates up and down

I’m a dentist and Bought it as a back up for my dental loupes. Unfortunately will not work, working distance is way too close (definitely not 420mm). The light itself is bright and light weight so I decided to keep but the loupes will not work. I imagine for someone who just wants it to quickly magnify, good value for the money, but you must hold the items pretty close to your face for it to be clear.

I have odd shaped glasses so sadly I had to return this fabulous item.With more typically shaped glasses, I’m sure it would be quite doable.(Tried out with older pair of glasses and worked out great, but for the outdated script.)So disappointed, as product would be absolutely perfect for assembling my miniature, some practically microscopic, collages. Highly recommend for any close workKudos to the designers of the smashingly beautiful cobalt blue case and inner compartments. Deliciously gorgeous and enticing to the eye and easily handles cargo inside. (I almost kept it just for the stunning beauty of the case—yes, it’s that gorgeous.)I don’t often write reviews and have never, ever written one for a return, but this is so uniquely special, I thought anyone artsy, or those bafflingly *talented people who can take things apart and actually get them back together again would really love this.*How do they do that anyway?

The lenses are hard to adjust properly at first but once correctly placed the focus is clear and the lamp is bright. The adjustable brightness feature helps keep the lamp from overpowering the work area. With the lenses and the lamp attached the glasses are a bit on the heavy side but not so much as to be uncomfortable.

These work well - BUT - there is no way to adjust the focus point. I have to hold an object at arms length for it to be in focus. This is very unnatural and makes using them awkward (very awkward). There is also no way to independently adjust the focus of just one eye, so if your eyes are not identical, one eye will be in focus and the other will not.This makes these mostly unusable - unless you want to work on something while holding at arms length and with only one eye in focus.

I love it ! The only downside that it is a little bite heavy on the nose. But other than that it is a great option for someone with small budget.For the light, I think it is bright enough the only thing about it that it needs a looooong time to be fully charged! And you need to do that everyday.Then you will have only 5 hours to use it continuously
