Good and Easy
Love Lebanese food and there are not restaurants around me that serve it! The recipes in this book are easy to follow and taste great!

Luscious looking Lebanese/Middle eastern recipes
Very nice recipes designed for USA cooks. These would be like other Middle Eastern type of recipes, with lots of lamb, yogurt, pickled turnips, and lemon. I've only seen haloumi cheese at one particular market. Zatar seasoning is widely available. Sumac is at the spice store. It used to be a good idea to acclimate my children to eating meals from other cultures. However, although it didn't always work, they do, now, eat eclectically. So. I would advise branching out and exposing the family to a variety of cuisines. These recipes provide a good opportunity for that purpose.

Great Recipes
Easy to follow and very tasty recipes. There is nothing special that you have to purchase. Each recipe you can make from common ingredients and spices that any cook would have in their kitchen.

Black and white food pictures?? Really?? Really??!Is this some kind of a joke?I feel so insulted that I bought this "book" for my wife's parents!If it wasn't merely $7.99 I would've demanded my money back!

Lebanese Takeout Cookbook by Lina Chang is one of ten cookbooks with recipes from different countries. Lina Chang obviously knows cooking, as seen in her knowledge of what is best in ten distinct cultures. It is also seen in the many delicious recipes in this volume. She tells readers about Lebanese cooking and gives thirteen appetizer recipes, two soups, three salads, nine sandwiches, five pizzas, three kinds of beef, four chickens, three lamb, four veggies, and two desserts. She has colorful photos of each dish and all of the necessary information on how to make them.

Good simple book.
It doesn’t have pictures as said, but the recipes are simple enough. I have made many recipes that I had at restaurants already

Quantities are in portions of cup and have american names (eggplant, cilantro...) and temperatures are in F, which make it complicated to use.
