Nordic Ware Cakes and Cupcakes Carrier, Blue

The pictures don’t accurately show that the lid has a very big center divot, thus your icing will get squished, but only in the center of your sheet cake. I specifically ordered this carrier for my mother to put her double layer sheet cake in...other carriers aren’t deep enough for the frosting to stay intact. I thought this carrier would be better, based on the dimensions listed. But as soon as I opened the box, I knew it wouldn’t work. The height of the lid would he perfect if it weren’t for the stupid center part. I looked back at the pictures, and it’s very hard to see how deep that divot is in the center. The measurements aren’t accurate when you take that into account.Additionally, the lid/handles don’t stay latched well. I would NEVER transport a cake or cupcakes in this carrier.Do not like. Do not recommend.

To start with it is not big enough for a 9 x 13 cake. Not the base and not the height. The way the handles close or lock the lid on is very flimsy. I don't expect it to last long. I am keeping it . Why? To avoid mailing it back. I will use it for cup cakes. Truly, this will disappoint you.

I bought this because I needed a carrier for a 4" tall cake, and based on the description this carrier should work. I should have read the reviews first...the lid has a large handle molded into it which dips about 1.25" into the interior space of the carrier. This makes it impossible to fit a cake taller than 3" into the carrier without squishing the cake in the center.I considered keeping this to use with cupcakes, however the "locking" handles on the sides which are meant to keep the lid in place are so weak that the lid kept popping off when I carried it, even while empty.The description on this product needs to be updated to reflect the correct dimensions. It's also more of a cake/cupcake "saver" than a "carrier."

This idem is advertised as for cakes and cupcakes, but I made a rectangle cake the same size as the container, and the lid would not fit on it to close. There is an independent to pick the lid up instead of a handle. Also the latch doesn't really latch securely. Someone may need to hold it in transit. So you would have to put a 1 layer cake in there. I have not made cupcakes yet, But I was so mad at the last minute the lid didn't fit on and latch.

We misplaced our Tupperware cake storage/carrier in a cross county move. Looked for another one and was shocked at the cost of a new one. This Nordic Ware cake carrier is very well designed and very sturdy. Super easy to clean. Very easy to use. Well worth the cost which is way less than than the competition

I’ve stored 2 cakes in this holder since I got it. I love that it holds the rectangular cakes. But make sure your cake is completely cooled if you plan to store it directly on the plastic. Hand wash.

Very nice and practical. Easy to use. Not bad for a sheet and cupcake holder

This product makes me nervous about potential cake-carrying accidents. The snaps are flimsy. The handle is awkward. A standard 9x13 cake is a tight fit. I am returning this product. On the plus side: The cupcake holders are roomy and tall enough, albeit you can carry no more than a dozen.

Large container. Perfect for what I need. My loaf cake was much smaller than the carrier, but that’s ok, because I can carry larger cakes if necessary. I hope the latching system will keep everything closed.

Good sturdy material, had trouble snapping the handles closed on the flat side, but was okay once it was worked in
