are these nutrient sticks different from pack with same coloured pieces comes with ADA aqua soil?

AQUAVITALS Root Tabs provide the plants with all the necessary Macro and Micro nutrients required for a healthy overall growth. These are specially designed in a way to release the nutrients slowly over a period of 45-60 days, thus reducing the algae issues, allowing plants to absorb whatever is released into the soil and water. You can add the root tabs either while setting up the tank or insert them into the soil near the roots of the plants in an established tank. We cannot comment on what the sticks are made of in the ADA aqua soil. But you can still use our tabs along with any other sticks.

Do i need to add fertz besides with root tabs added to the tank? the fertz i am using is apt 1 zero from 2 hrs aquarists

It depends on the type of plants in the aquarium. Generally root tabs help both root feeders and general plants, but, since the purpose of root tabs is to release the ferts slowly over a period of 45-60 days, its advisable to use liquid ferts as well in combination.

Can i cut this into pieces and plant it just below each root?
