The case seems like a great idea, but the keyboard is mislabeled for the characters other than alphabet. For instance the number 8 key is labeled for parenthesis and types asterisk. Common for all. I'm very unhappy, and would not recommend this keyboard.

I love this keyboard case and in fact I am typing this review on it! What I like best: - great fit and finish on par with Apple quality - excellent connectivity and perfect integration to the iPad (no lag or delay) - the battery life is ridiculously long (I have been using it for a week with no recharge needed so far) - this makes the iPad even more versitile by turning it into a mini laptop - the keyboard functionality mirrors a standard Apple layout including accent keys and the vital ctrl Z! It also has a few added keys for the iPad like a home key, cut and paste, and screen lock Things to consider before buying: - the keys are quite small, but this is not a serious issue considering they had to cram a full keyboard to a 10" case - Although it serves as a cover for the screen, I could not use my polycarb case for the back so my iPad is essentially naked on the back - the price is fairly steep at $100 but this really does add a lot of functionality for those who only have 1 device - there is no mouse pad, so you will still be touching the screen to navigate; personally I find this much more intuitive than a mouse pad regardless Happy shopping and hope this review will help others!

I've had this keyboard cover for a while and I am very happy with it. The keyboard is very nice. I have no trouble moving back and forth between a full size PC keyboard and this iPad keyboard. Typing is smooth and consistent. However as a cover it's not going to protect my iPad in the event of it being dropped or knocked off of a table. Like the Apple covers, it attaches to the left side using magnets and closes over the screen, allowing for the auto-on, auto-off feature when open and closed. It does nothing to protect the sides or back of the iPad. I now carry my iPad and this keyboard around in a small laptop bag to fully protect them. I also find that the backing material it is made of is prone to scratching easily. When the keyboard is in use, any sliding across the table causes the metal backing to get scuffed and scratched. One other issue I have with this product, is that it does not work well if you want the iPad to sit in the slot in portrait mode. In landscape mode, with the left side of the iPad in the slot is the only way it works. This is because the iPad is held within the slot with the left-side iPad magnets. However in portrait mode, or landscape right-side down, the iPad will eventually fall out. While I list more negative points than positive ones, this really is a great portable keyboard for my iPad. As a keyboard, I would highly recommend it. But as a protective cover, you are going to need something else.

This would have recieved a 5, however, only a 3 due to the programing in the keyboard being incorrect. This affects only the shift number keys when one needs symbols. For example, the left bracket '(' shows on the keys as being the shift '8' key, however, if I shift '8' I get * . I use the key board daily so I am just learning where the symbols are hidden. The feel of the keys and battery life is great and it secures very well when the IPad is in use and closed.

I absolutely love this product! I switched to an iPad from a netbook/laptop and was always concerned about the efficiency of the typing on the screen. I hate typing on the screen on my iPhone. I had tried other iPhone keyboards and was not impressed. I was concerned about having the same problem with an iPad keyboard. This, however, is exactly what I wanted! It is slim - it adds about the width of 1/2 an iPad to the size - which is nothing compared to some folio covers and keyboards that are 3 - 4 times bigger. I love the keypad as I am a touch-typer. Full keyboard, in full qwerty (I hate that the onscreen keyboard on the iPad is not laid out the same on the right hand). You still touch the screen of the iPad to click and manipulate, but then you can type properly - with a full screen view (instead of 2/3 of it being covered by the keyboard). The magnet and stand is good - no complaints. Sits at a very nice angle - we use it to watch movies in bed - on the night stand or sitting up on the blankets. I wanted something that would also hold the iPad in portrait mode, and this will, and it's fine, but I haven't really found it necessary because everything functions so well in landscape. I suppose certain games would need it to be portrait. Best $99.00 I have spent in a really long time! Makes my iPad a fully-functional laptop replacement.

Works well. When first started after not using for a while, it takes a moment to connect via Bluetooth . Has some great features like volume, mute, screen lock, cut, copy, paste, home, delete, that really improv ipad use and text editing. The magnetic system it uses to hold the ipad upright, and to hold it to a hinge works surprisingly well. I find myself just leaving the ipad in the cradle position 90% of the time.
