NEOGEN IDEAL 043-8208 272507 Vet Thermometer, 5 Inch

Original order would not shake down but Temp would increase above the 107ish line. Request a replacement. This one wouldn’t shake down below 105 but would heat up above this point. Tried multiple times with same result with both. Useless to check a dog temp. I use thermometers all the time and understand there are two lines and how to shake them down. I even tried spinning in case in a sock to increase the centripetal force on the fluid to no avail.

Buy 4 thermometers supposedly these. First were not like the picture and secondly not work either during its first use. I was wanting to use it while others failed and broke and was not due to mishandling.

The liquid on the thermometer I bought was stuck at one temperature and no amount of shaking would get it to move, so it was incapable of taking a reading. Threw it out.
