Polypropylene Practice Training Tools Sword or Scabbard or Sword&Scabbard Set

I just love swords, but I usually don’t like messing around with metal blades. This practice katana is great for training my arms while using. The sword is very durable, barely making dents on the blade (although avoid anything sharp or with rough edges, as it can slightly chip if you are not careful). It’s a bit on the heavier side but is not unwieldable by any means. I’ve yet to practice with someone else but it would have been amazing to use in practice sparring.

It came in great condition and perfect for what I needed. My only qualm is a nitpicky/minor one and that has to do with the ribbon provided. It slips quite a bit and I can't get it to stay on how I want for more than a few minutes, but it's an easily replaceable part. The sword and scabbard itself are exactly what I expected

The sword is great but the scabbard feels cheap, it’s very thin plastic with no seal when unsheathing the sword, slides right off

The tie section on the handle is backwards. When I tie the sword to my hip curved blade up, the tie handle is on the inside instead of outside

My 8 year old loves to train with it

The scabbard/saya is a very sloppy fit. It rattles and has absolutely no friction holding the sword in the scabbard like a real katana, but a thick rubber band fixes that.
