I’ve been using OtterBox cases for years, and the latest one I got for my iPhone continues to impress me. If you’re looking for durability, sleek design, and peace of mind, this is the case you need. great phone case

This is a great product! Be mindful that when assembling, the outside rubber case needs to be peeled off of the plastic frame. The frame is in two pieces and comes apart to insert your phone and click the two pieces back together. Then re-form the rubber case around the plastic frame. There were no instructions with the case when I received it, but my wife bought a similar case elsewhere and the sales clerk aided her with the application. This case will feel heavier than most cases you might purchase. It is beefier. In my opinion, this is one reason that makes this a great case. Very durable. There is an extra pad on the inside for the back of your phone to rest on. This is to protect the finish of your phone and extra protection if dropped. Another reason I love this case is the rubber outside case. Unlike some of the other cases I have purchased in the past for my iPhones with a smooth surface, the rubber outer case aids in the grip of the phone and does not slide around on surfaces easily. The fit is tight around the phone. Additionally, it has the added security of closures at the cable plug-in site and at the on/off sound button site to keep out dust and lint. Bottom line, I will trade the added weight feature for the convenience of phone safety. It looks great too!

I tried some of the cheaper cases, but this one beats them all for durability, thickness, color, and grip. I am glad to be able to still purchase this case. It has a good feel, not slippery like the silicone ones. It provides excellent protection and includes an inner protection holder inside the outer flat mat silicone (I believe) covering. I would not hesitate to purchase more in the future for whatever phones I may own.

Well ,it was purchased for my husband to replace his old one. Obviously he likes it, like most men wearing it on their hip.

I’ve been using OtterBox Defender cases for as long as I can remember, probably back to the iPhone 4 or 5 days. They’ve always been my go-to for keeping my phone safe. I replaced my old one with this case (it was an open-box buy) and ran into a couple of fit issues. It fit the phone, but it felt like it was made for a slightly different version. I had to use a Dremel to trim a little plastic off both sides of the bottom housing. On the left, the volume-up button was blocked by the support for the mute switch, so I ended up removing that lower support completely so the rubber button could move right. On the right, the lock button was partly blocked by maybe 1/16 inch of plastic. Once I cleaned that up, everything worked like it should. The case still feels solid and tough, just like every other OtterBox I’ve had. I still depend on that durability and the ability to clip it on my hip every day. Not a perfect out-of-the-box experience, but considering it was open-box and I got it working, I’m good with it. It does what OtterBox always does -keeps my phone safe.
