Perfect - Exactly what I need.
Ok, so - I never review things, but after almost a week of trying this product, I feel like this deserves some words. Since I'm in my 30s now and work in an industry that requires me to wear makeup on the daily, I take my skincare routine and products very, very seriously. I typically use prestige beauty products (Tatcha, Drunk Elephant, etc.) that cost $50-100+ per cleanser/creme/whatever, but I consider that an investment in cruelty-free, all-natural, high-quality, sustainably sourced goods that work for my skin. So, when a friend recommended I try something that cost $13 and could be found on Amazon, I was skeptical; I figured it either wouldn't remove the makeup, or would leave residue/gunk and clog my pores like tons of other products have (Alba Botanica, I'm looking at you). Nevertheless, I said sure. I'd try it. The ingredients ARE all natural, it's a LOT of product for the money, the process, is easy, and worst case, I can go back to my normal stuff.Sooo...I am totally not going back. For 1/4 the price of what I've been paying, I got a way better product. My skin is so freaking smooth and fresh and happy right now, it's absurd. This takes the makeup right off not just my face, but my eyes - eyeliner, mascara, the whole deal. No raccoons or pandas in sight. Just pat-pat, wipe-wipe, et voila! All done and feeling fresh AF. I have combination skin, so this neither dries me out nor leaves me feeling oily - I just have perfectly hydrated skin and when I wake up in the AM, I feel clean and ready to start the day. No breakouts, no residue - just healthy and happy skin.

Best Makeup Remover Cream and Cleanser for a fresh face

cleans off make up
I have allergies so I can't do strong smells, this cleanser is great smell-wise! Not strong smelling at all. And it seems to remove make up well, and isn't drying. However, I feel like it leaves a kind of sticky residue on my face for a little bit after I've rinsed (I use it in the shower). And maybe its just me, but I don't think it really does anything as far as cleansing to prevent break outs. I'm not happy with it. I found something else to try.

Same As More Expensive Brand
I have used Clinique for more years than I can count. However, just recently, I discovered that they do animal testing. So, I started doing research to find substitutes for the various Clinique products I use, and discovered this makeup remover. I did a comparison test between the So, So Cocoa and the Clinique makeup remover, and this is what I discovered.1. Both had almost the exact same consistency.2. Both took off my makeup really well.3. There was no difference regarding the way my face felt after I used both products.4. There was a major difference in price. The cost per ounce for the Clinique was almost twice as much as the So, So Cocoa. To summarize, I'm very happy to have found a cruelty-free makeup remover for sensitive skin that performs just as well, but costs about half of what the more expensive product costs. It's really a no-brainer, and I just hope they keep making this because I'll definitely buy more when I run out.
