Motorguide 55FW FB X3 Trolling Motor

Works great on my bass tracker. When my 3 year old Minn Kota trolling motor gave out. And was going to cost me as much as a new one. I figured I didn't want another Minn Kota. This one went on the Minn kota mount. So no extra holes. 😕

Best price in town. Works great! Just wish I knew what to do with the old one. The seal went out on the motor water got in rusted up inside. If anyone could repair it be better than sending it to the dump.

I specifically ordered this trolling motor because the delivery date was before my vacation. When I checked the status a day or 2 later they changed the date of delivery. I wanted this for a back up to my regular motor since it’s old and finicky. Well it never arrived before we were scheduled to leave. There was no time to order another to arrive on time. Needless to say we really needed it on vacation. Extremely disappointed that the delivery date was changed when this was ordered specifically because originally it was supposed to be here the day before we left! When we got back I installed the motor. Took it out on a local lake and the propeller fell off while in use!!! I ordered a new propeller and put it on and have used it since then. It works ok but seriously not happy with the purchase at all.

This trolling motor was fairly easy to mount and hook up to my 12 volt power system. I bought it to replace an older, less powerful model from 1999. It is a most superior trolling motor

Works well on my 16' starcraft. Plenty of power. Foot petal is great and doesn't swing hard on you
