Bought this to use as an ostomy hole punch kit
This is a great way to cut holes in ostomy wafers without having to pay a huge price for a specialized ostomy wafer cutter. The price was great for what was received, each piece is sharp & well made, and it does what it was ordered to do. This may not be a traditional use for these, but the ostomy cutting tools basically have these components and are 30 to 50 bucks each for each size. Medical fabrication tools for wound and ostomy bandages, wafers, and other produces are ridiculously expensive. Insurance doesn't pay for them. A stoma (opening for an ostomy) can swell change size, so it's nice having a set with a range in sizes without paying a huge amount. The precision of the cut inthe wafer (which is essentially a bandages that goes around the ostomy & needs a hole in the middle) is perfect. It doesn't leave jagged edges from the plastic-like parts that can irritate or cut the stoma/ostomy. The hole cut by the tool perfectly smooth & makes for a safe, comfortable fit and application every time. Great product!

Cost effective hole punching
This set had the perfect metric size cutter I needed for a project at work. Just check to make sure each die is circular (may have slight bow from the welding process). I used an arbor press with wood to back these up and punch perfect holes in silicone sheeting.

Sloppy construction but works well for cutting foam
I used these for cutting cylindric holes in polyurethane foam, and it worked great. However there were some problems with the construction. These are made of strips of steel that are spot welded into a cylindrical shape. The welds look very weak and these might not survive heavy duty use. On a few of mine the seam where the strips are welded was pretty uneven with up to about a half millimeter gap along the cutting edge.Note also that if you want to use these for cutting foam you will need to sharpen them a bit better, and file off any sharp corners along the cutting edge where the welds are uneven. I used some small sharpening stones I had lying around (800 grit diamond, then ceramic, then leather strop, held by hand at a very rough 20 degree angle to the edge) and within a couple of minutes a die was sharp enough to slice foam when slowly rotated by hand with a very small downward pressure.

Great for starting out
No complaints. These work well just starting out with leather and using an arbor press. Nice variety of corners.

Great value
These is such a great value for the amount you get. I was making leather menu covers and this made rounding the corners a breeze. Very happy with the purchase.

Inaccurate Geometry
Don't believe the photo: these aren't really hexagons. Besides that, they're okay. Fairly sturdy, fairly sharp. The problem is that they're nowhere close to an actual hexagon: there are two short sides and four long sides. More or less functionless for my needs. Might use them for cookie cutters?

Not very sharp…
Love the shape but think again… these just are not so sharp not sure if it’s just the shape but of all my die patterns these just are not clean have to punch leaving impression in board after punching 2-3 times and still not a clean cut. Not impressed. Still have to back track with a blade to cut out. It’s just so much extra work and effort that it is not worth my time.
