I really like this item this is a very good item for mixing into making your own yogurt.

Very gentle on stomach. Probiotic strain DSM means it was developed in Germany. This is produced in Sweden from a German strain, so high quality product. DSM 17938 is the particular German strain. Not all L. Reuteri are equal! This is high quality and easily incorporates into your gut after antibiotic use. Strongly recommend. No gas, no side effects. Superb product.

I like to have probiotics on hand for whenever I need to be on an antibiotic, or if I ever have an upset stomach and these so far have been great. I was a little worried when I read many reviews about these arriving with no live cultures, but I haven't had any issues with my batch so far. I had used the BioGaia infant probiotic drops and they worked well when my kids were very little, so I was excited to to try the adult version. They come in an easy to swallow capsule and I like that I only have to take one a day. I also like that they include Vitamin D with these. They are a little pricey, but they come with a 60 day supply and are high quality. Overall these are great for anyone who need a probiotic.

I am old and have all sorts of health issues., I do not want to elaborate about. On youtube I heard Dr. Berg and Dr. Davies talking about a microbe, which strangely has disappeared from most of the population's gut. Reuteri is one of the few microbes which can exist in the small intestines and it will compete successfully with harmful bacteria which cause "leaky gut" and quite possible a large number of ailments which until today have not been completely researched. So I am making my own "cultured milk" using Lactobacillus Reuteri (and a lot of other bacteria). Just taking the pills does nothing, you need maybe 100X more than just a single pill. According to my understanding, for some reason nobody knows, it is not possible to "seed" the beneficial bacteria by taking probiotics. You have to take them every day. Apparently scientists cannot explain this. It could be, that one needs hundreds of different types of bacteria which only together are self sustaining like in a symbiotic relationship.

Dr. Davis recommends DSM 17938 ATCC PTA 6475 strains of L-reuteri. I got Dr. Davis' L-reuteri with both strains and did have a histamine reaction which seems to be gradually lessening as I used histamine blockers or enzymes. Then I read Dr, Davis said that a person can just take the DSM 17938 alone which does not produce histamine. He says that those that experience adverse reactions to L reuteri have a compromised gut or SIBO. Anyway, I'm going to try this one alone and see what happens. Btw, I happened to see at YT video by Dr. Berg who interviewed Dr. Davis and mentioned we should all take B. infantis. I started on it and finally, after years, sleep like a baby. Maybe give it a go. Biogaia also sells both strains of L reuteri together called Gastrus.

I haven’t been sick since I started taking these a year ago! Has a nice apple flavor too. I like that the specific strains are listed and that the company is very reputable with lots of clinical data available. Also lactose free, gluten free and no GMOs! 10/10 would recommend!

This is an excellent probiotic. I feel great.
