Tons of power, easy to handle
I bought the tool only because I have a few batteries for a PC cordless drill that will fit both tools. I used a 6Ah to do some work on my car this weekend. I uninstalled, then installed the 20 lug bolts (not nuts) and did a few other things with no issues. Plenty of torque for the 150 Nm/110 lb-ft specs on my wheels bolts. Durability I rated a 3 star only because I have not had it long enough to know yet. My PC cordless drill has had extensive use and is going strong after a couple of years at least.

Pretty good but not for 330ft/lbs
When I purchased this item in early November, it was advertised for 180ft/lbs of torque. Now it says 330 for the same exact item. Seems like false advertising to me. Nonetheless, the impact wrench will handle anything in the 110 to 120 ft lbs range. Anything above that and the bolts won't come off and you'll be smelling that brush motor burning. I bought it to take off wheel and it works well for lug nuts. Way to big to fit anywhere else. Battery life is decent and enough to swap two cars from summer to winter tire/Rim combo without swapping the battery.

Works as advertised
Love it... Works great just like all my Porta Cable cordless tools. Porta Cable quality is as good as Dewalt. Both are owned and made for Stanley Tool Co. Porta Cable is less expensive and works!

Best tool investment ever
I wasn’t able to remove the axle nut on my car with my breaker bar using various well published approaches. This Porter Cable tool worked like a charm in less than 20 seconds!

Four years old but weak
I have owned this impact driver for four years and it still works well. Grip is good and prefer larger battery for better balance. The negative is that I do not believe the 330 ft lb of torque. Just had my car inspected and asked my mechanic what his air wrench was set at when he took my wheels on and off and he told me 100 lbs. this impact driver barely got the lug nuts off when I tried it when I got home. If you are looking for power my guess is there are better products out there.

Excellent TQ
Pressed this into service in a commercial repair shop. I am stunned at the TQ this relatively inexpensive tool delivers. Go for the highest amp hour battery you can find to keep TQ constant for Al long as possible.

You get what youy pay for
I only like leaving reviews after using the tool for some time. I've owned this wrench for over 2 years now and have used it multiple times, mostly on tire changes, but other automotive related stuff like brakes, suspension, etc. First it's great value for money and can torque off *MOST* wheel nuts and put them on again. Problem is the tool does not have the power rated - I've torqued on wheel nuts at 135 ft/lbs with a torque wrench and the tool consistently fails to break them free (yes, I'm using a fully charged 4 AH battery). Seems to be around 125 ft/lbs is where the tool is able to reliably break them free. Otherwise I need to loosen with a breaker bar first - unfortunately. More disappointingly the tool failed last summer - did not work at all when squeezing the trigger. Fortunately I'm handy and after dismantling the tool (it was out of warranty) I noticed the power FET which controls the battery to the motor had a broken lead. Bending it together and patching with a generous dollop of solder fixed the problem. Observing the fault the FET's leads were bent at 90 degrees so it could attach to the heatsink and PCB. I suspect the constant beating of the impacts caused the lead to fracture over time causing the fault. Fortunately it was a quick fix and the tool has been working well since the repair.

Terrible performance
Absolute pile of garbage, the rest of my porter cables have been amazing like the 1/4” impact driver but this is pathetic, I was torquing some trailer wheels and I held this impact gun on there and gave it all she’s got and I still had to do about 15 turns more with my torque wrench to reach 120 ft/lbs. I like porter cable but seriously if you’re looking for something with good power this is not for you. Do not buy this unless you’re only using for minor things.

Awesome tool!!!!
All I can say is I was very very happy with the ease of use and the quality of this impact. Rim removal/replace is so much more streamline.. actually fun. Also use the to changeover some front end parts and it worked awesome for that as well. Freed nuts easily.

Very weak
This product is very weak. When I say very weak I mean it can barely break a bolt anywhere....I have other porter cable products but this one is by far the worst.
