TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 38 mm Deep 6-Point Impact Socket | SID23138

These Tekton sockets are quickly becoming my favorites. This socket is holding up well to my impact wrench and is thin enough to use for my lug nuts without any damage. They fit really well and hold tightly, I’ve never been concerned about stripping a bolt head or breaking the socket.

I needed a 32mm socket for my Mom's VW Tiguan oil change. This socket was just what I needed. It is a rugged and strong socket. I needed it to remove the oil filter housing and put in a new oil filter. I'm glad I got this Tekton socket it will come in handy for years to come. I'm always impressed by the quality of Tekton sockets and they are very well built and feel high quality whenever I use them. I would buy more large-size sockets from Tekton if I needed them in the future. For $11 you can't go wrong with this socket.

Works great on large fasteners. Fits snug and stands up to use with a 1/2 Milwaukee impact.

Thus far I have only used the TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 1-1/16 Inch Deep 6-Point Impact Socket | SID23027 for one project (see title), so I'm not able to comment yet on long-term durability/sturdiness, but at least in the short run, it performed admirably, proving more than up to the task of extraction of a 12-year-old anode rod from a hot water heater, when paired with an old impact wrench providing 230 ft-lbs of torque [Chicago Electric (Harbor Freight)]. Nice product, saved me lots of $ which would otherwise have to be spent on a plumber!

nice solis socket. I didnt get a chance to use it, I couldnt get the leverage needed, so had to return it.

It will work great for typical automotive use, not so much for heavy industrial use.I used it for a few weeks changing a dozen teeth a day on our tub grinder at work. After a few weeks of very heavy use and abuse, it split down the side. My only complaint is the impact socket is on the thin side.BUT Tekton does have a great warranty and replaced it! You can even text them for a replacement. Takes a few days to get to you but you will have a new one at the end of it.

Works like a socket should, has not failed me yet and holds up to everything on large trucks.

This tuned out to be just the right tool for the job. I had ben struggling with a nut on my floor jack, and despite. drenching it with penetrating oil and using by breaker bar on a ratchet wrench, it just wouldn't budge. Five minute after opening the Amazon package, I ran down with the impact driver and the nut was off! Great value for the money too!

Buen material

Great little time saver for doing my rims. Used it to get my Honda Civic wheels off, to put in winter ones. Worked great with the drill adapter. It is deep so takes in the whole nut and doesnt damage it.
