95-0750 SmartFit Radiator Adaptor Set

Borrowed this from a guy I worked with one day. His was from Matco tools. I decided to get my own. Looked it up on Matco's website and then Amazon. You pay a 50 dollar Matco tax to buy it from them. Set works great for those oddball cooling systems.

universal, does the job

Once you understand how to use this it is pretty neat and useful. The only thing you have to worry about is using this on plastic overflow containers as those usually become brittle from the engine heat and can crack if you over-tightened one of these adapters on the opening. Hasn't happened to me yet but I can see that possibility. The price is a bit high in my opinion for the material costs to make this set. I can't see this costing no more than $15 to make but going price on Amazon is $100 and on the manufacturer's own site is $130. To me that is just too much of a markup. I think a fair and reasonable price would be around $60-$70. Also can't test radiator caps because it doesn't come with a radiator cap adapter which to me should be included in every coolant leak tester kit. If the cooler were say bright color such as blue, red, or yellow it would be better as you won't lose the rubber pieces. The color is black which makes it easy to lose and hard to find if it drops somewhere. For what it is designed to do I feel it is great and I give it a high thumbs up for that it. If only the price would come down a bit this would be a 5 star product.

The SmartFit Radiator Adapter set worked great to help locate a leak in a 98 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. The Adapter Set worked great to attach a Snap-On pressure tester to the Jeep Radiator to rapidly locate a leak in the seam of the upper tank and host neck. This set is Made in the USA. I am very happy with this tool purchase.

Works for just about every car I pressure tested on, even with the plastic containers, Like the Tahoe's and Silverado's . Great product if you know what your doing. Would buy again.

I use this to adapt my vacuum filler to just about any car. They tried to tell me I had to buy a $400 adapter set. This has done every car so far, even the European and Korean cars

works good as long as you keep the rubber dry while tightening it down. should fit pretty much every vehicle. great for the price

This was just what I was looking for and it was a really great price. However it was about half the price of the tool truck price
