Compatible with CarPlay & Bluetooth charging!!
This is a great product. Have been using it for a couple of months now and enjoying every minute of it! It triples my iPhone’s single charge battery life! I like my iPhone 13 mini for its small size to allow me operate it with just my thumb while holding it in my palm. However, its full single charge doesn’t last too long, especially when I am on travel. I selected this Alpatronix battery box out of others on Amazon because it was advertised as being compatible with both CarPlay and BlueTooth charging which I used to. I’m happy to say that all this is true. My CarPlay has continued to work as it did, being connected through the battery box now. BlueTooth charging works as before to charge the phone first and then the box itself, and I can monitor the charging level by briefly pressing a nice little button on the box. I am no longer afraid to discharge my iPhone when I’m traveling. Pressing and holding the button for 3 sec starts the iPhone charging process to extend its battery life. This is exactly what I was looking for - STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Review; Alpatronix Batter Case Summary: Doesn't work, charge or fit cables.
I have been a long-term user of battery cases for my iPhone. Simply, the charges won't last all day by themselves. Battery cases make sense, add heft to the holding of the phone and let me charge when I want or can. They only have limited lives...I've been through 2 dozen over the years and the longest any of them has lasted is maybe 9 months, then you need to order a new one. Either the battery stops charging up (usual case), the plug connectors wear down and won't function again or the case has a charge but will not charge up the phone. In all of these case, I usually toss the battery case and order a new one (in this case two).I ordered two of these from Alpatronix. When I put the phone into them, I noted a little power in cases (the second case was actually mostly full). But over the first couple of days, the power was gone out of the case and would not charge the phone. I plugged the case in at work and the first one wouldn't charge at all. There is a battery level indicator on the back (4 lil lights!) and it never got off the first light.I tossed the first case and installed the phone into the second case. This one lasted two days then same issues. In both cases, the charging plug (standard Apple issue) would not fit easily into the case and would only look like it was charging (blinking light) when it was installed one way into the case. When I went to report the issue, I was sent from AMZN to the company, then filled out a couple online sheets and finally told to go read my warranty. No one live helped or was a part of the conversation. Ultimately, I tossed the second battery and got on with my life.If you, like me, use battery cases on your phone, please do not bother with these, look for better products.

Compact
Works great. Battery in phone was shot this solves that problem. Apple car play won’t source through it if that’s a deal breaker for anyone. Otherwise very happy with charging and feel of the case.

iPhone 13 Pro? You Probably Need this
I like this battery case a lot. A really really lot.A of all) It really protects the phone. Protects it good. It's a hard sturdy case. (I know; I've dropped it a couple times.) And, because of the battery hump, the camera lenses are essentially recessed. They're extra protected.B of all) The iPhone 13 Pro has good battery life, but there has been more than one day when I used up all its battery... but I don't have to worry, because I have this.C of all) One night, I forgot to charge my phone, and because I had this, I got through the next day fine.D of all) Of course I thought about getting the iPhone 13 Pro Max, because of longer battery... but it's just too big for my hand. This -- while it adds some hand-bulk -- is not too big: the iPhone 13 Pro and this... it's a nice hand-filling chunk, but not big. If your hand is happy with the Pro (vs. Pro Max), your hand will still be happy.E of all) That curve on the battery section, on the back, gives you a place to lodge your forefinger when you're holding the phone in your right hand. It's not exactly like one of those holdy-thingies you can buy extra, but it kind of is. It gives you much better hand-purchase on the phone.F of all) It just feels really great in your hand. The two most versatile, important tools to have in life are a Swiss Army Knife and a good smart phone (one for the physical world and one for the digital world). This case makes the phone feel like a tool, a piece of equipment... rather than a personal accessory.Cons?Well, the back surface shows scratches if you drop it a couple times. (But that means it's working!)Bottom line: If I lost it or it stopped working, I would order another the next day.
