Great cooking pot
Great handle that stays cool and is easy to hold. I like that it’s dishwasher safe as well, makes it easier to clean.

A Very Handy Pot
This is a great pot for a very specific set of needs. I was looking for a pot to function as a small version of a stock pot..to contain mostly liquid for soups, to boil pasta and blanch vegetables in, and to precook beans, without having to use my huge stock pot. It serves this function perfectly. Liquids heat quickly, pour easily (as you can see it has a spout) and simmer to boil with no problem. It has good balance so lifting it to drain is no problem, and a pour area on the cover that serves the function of a built in colander to assist in draining. It is not for long cooking of thicker foods, as it is a thin pot designed for liquids, but for what it was designed for, is one of the best pots I've used...perfect size (I have the 3 quart), great heating and emptying properties.

Good Pan, Nice Finish, Design Could Be Better
I got this and the similar Rorence pour pot.The Cuisinart has a slightly nicer finish than the Rorence. But, the Rorence has a helper handle opposite the main handle, and it has pour spouts on BOTH sides. This means you can use it right or left handed. The Cusinart must be used holding the handle in the right hand. Not as great. Also, the Rorence holds 1/2 quart more, which is nice for noodles. I did a test, both boil 4 cups of water in exactly the same amount of time on my induction cooktop.

excellent pot
we have a full seet of Cuisinart cookware. but my wife and i are always fighting over this ONE pot. it is the perfect size. it might have the best cover i ever saw on a pot. the handle never gets hot on our commercial gas range. and the bonded bottom means even heating. So we bought another one, just like the one we already had. now no more fighting of a pot.about the only thing they could have done better, the clad bottom stops at the bottom. the sides are just single layer stainless steel. so on a gas stove, on high flame, sometimes you get some food scorching on the side walls up higher

Total garbage.
First thing you will notice is how thin and painfully unergonomic the handle is to hold. For a pot designed specifically for holding large amounts of liquid, the grip of the handle is too narrow and too thin to hold onto securely while draining. This pot will either slip out of your hand when you tilt it or cut into your wrist unless you wrap it a bunch of times with a cloth or something. Terrible design from the start. The handle gripes wouldn't be major if they included a forward grip or handle on the other side of the pot, but they don't. Because bad design.Speaking of bad design, the inside of the lid also seems thoughtless. Again, this pot is specifically made for cooking stuff in liquids then draining them through the lid. This lid, however, is indented on the inside across the entire inside. There's a deep trench between the glass part of the lid meets the metal frame, which means anything you drain using the lid gets stuck inside of it. Why make a pot for draining then make the lid difficult to clean if you drain things? Because Cuisinart. The pot I got also developed rusty pocks inside the pan. I only used wood utensils and only used this to boil pasta and brown rice. There's no reason for a pot this poorly designed or low quality to exist. Don't waste your money. I couldn't even donate this due to the pocks so I just threw it in the recycling bin.

Love these pots
I’m a very avid home chef who launched a candy company and was needing a great variety of pots for all my creations. The two sizes I bought of these pots have been a total game changer. They heat evenly, are heavy duty, great value for the money, fabulous thick glass lid, and I adore the lip for easy pouring. I like these so much I’m probably going to buy the other sizes and donate my old nonstick ceramic pots
