I have a Navpal sat nav which is larger than Tom Tom, it fits perfectly into this holder and is very stable.

It's ok but does shake a little and could do with arm height adjust, not too much but would help

The tablet holder is quite sturdy and gives off a nice quality feel. I used a Spigen clamp before this one, which didn't instill much confidence construction-wise, it was wobbly and flimsy. This one has a broader area of contact, which helps a lot. I needed a new phone holder for my folding phone, and this one fit the bill perfectly. Getting the phone in and out was somewhat finicky at first, probably because I did it wrong. In order to mount your phone or tablet, insert one end first, then grab the protrusion on the back of the other end of the phone holder, stretch it out and gently ease it down on the phone's other end. Easy-peasy, unless you're used to clamps with auto locking mechanisms :-)
