Works very well, does what it says
I used this to repair two lines running to my hot water heater. The house builder decided to solder the flex connections directly to the pipes so this was my solution to crimp some actual hose bibs onto the existing piping. Fits into tight spaces, and makes a very secure crimp on the connector. I will definately be keeping this around for future house plumbing repairs as I have soldered fittings and valves all over the place that I am going to have to replace in the near future. If you're on the fence about buying such a cheap tool (check out Home Depot, the want at least $3,500 for similar electric tools) don't be. It does requre some strength to pump the hydraulic piston enough to get secure crimp, but it's very doable and I image it's a lot easier than using a leaver action crimp. Not to mention this thing is much more compact than other manual crimpers, I had no issues squeezing it into a tiny water heater closet to get the pipes crimped.

Worked GREAT!
As a Commercial GC/DIY Homeowner, I do enough plumbing to know what I'm doing, but no where close to being an expert. The one area that I historically suck is sweating copper. This tool made it very easyNotes for users:- I recomend only using Type L Copper. Not sure Type M will hold up to the pressure of the tool.- Make sure to fully prep your connections just as if you were soldering. Very critical- Fit everything up before you start crimping, and put alignment marks on both the pipe and the connector- Plan your sequencing, and drill holes in studs and top track/plating such that you will be able to crimp inside the wall cavity. It's easy to get yoursef into a position where you cannot crimp a joint due to obstructions.- Be aware of the twist that occurs after you crimp multiple joints in a run. Do small setions at a time, and continue to verify alignment

Worked Perfectly
I know the reviews said this could not be used on the T connectors but IT CAN!!! if you offset the die as opposed to having a full set in the tool, it has plenty of strength for the T connector. I was able to get my whole house water filter added in about 20 mins using this tool and the compression fittings.
