It works
I used to have a stand alone meat grinder and it was amazing, but took up more space. When I downsized, I got rid of my mixer and the stand alone grinder. Now that I have a larger place I bought the Cuisinart mixer and decided to get the meat attachment, too. For my purposes it works fine. It is easy to use. The attachment can also make sausages if you buy the casing, but I have not tried that yet. I was so happy to be able to grind my own meat since pre ground supermarket meat can be questionable: how long it’s in the case; did someone leave it on a counter and then it was returned to the meat dept.? Chuck steak is perfect since it has a lot of fat. It used to be a really cheap cut of steak but I was shocked to see how even that cuts’ prices have risen so much with the current inflation. All in all, it was a good purchase, and very easy to clean and store.

A good meat grinder for light use
A good product for kitchenaid and cuisart both. Works as it should but debris and tendon get caught on the blade / housing and needs to be periodically taken apart and cleaned if you're running a large batch.

Great small grinder without having to drag out the big guns. Perfect grind for bolognese sauce! Worth the money!

Bad performance compared to KitchenAid
Photo shows Cuisinart fixtures at the left and KitchenAid at the rightDisk in KitchenAid for coarse grind are wider and cutter has little flat blades at both sides, Cuisinart's blade is led efficient as it,'s grinder disks. I used it the first time to make ground pork. I had to use a spoon to scrap the blade and strongly push down the meat into the machine to help it come out. Did not like it at all. But I cannot stand the price of another KitchenAid stand-up blender. Hope Cuisinart improve this item.
