The shock cord in most collapsible tent poles becomes worn at the pole ends and breaks over time. This replacement cord is a great value and easily replaces the worn and broken original cord. The long 65-foot length ensures plenty of cord to replace any length of tent pole assemblies and then cut to length. This cord has many other uses as well with its elastic stretch and abrasion resistant material. Great cord to have on hand when camping and hiking.

I had to replace all the shock cord for my 6-person tent. Apparently, I needed all 65ft to complete the replacement. Anyway, it was the perfect diameter for the tent poles. I love it so much that I bought more just in case I have to fix my other tents too.

Arrived very quickly, nicely prepared/packaged. No specifications published and I didn't bother to measure but the amount of force this applies when stretched is not the best. It does have a nice amount of stretch though.
