I’m really happy with this iPad holder. I’ve been looking for a solution that would get the iPad off of my 7 year old’s lap so that he’s not hunched over while watching it on long road trips. Great device! We used it on our 6 hour road trip and it was so easy to adjust! Got these for the grands to take on a road trip. It worked. Though that they would be cheap due to the price point. But they were pretty sturdy and not rickety at all. It holds the phone as well as the pad securely. even when we hit bumps the devices never fell out.

I recently purchased the iPad car mount for the back seat headrest and I have mixed feelings about it. While it has some great features, it also has some major drawbacks that make it difficult to fully recommend.On the positive side, this car mount is very sturdy and convenient. It securely attaches to the headrest of my car and does hold an iPad in place while driving. The adjustable arm allows for easy positioning and the 360-degree rotation feature is a nice touch. It also has a sleek and modern design that looks great in my car.However, the biggest issue I had with this mount, and the reason I returned it, is that it does not work with bulky cases on the iPad. I have an Otterbox case on my daughter's iPad and unfortunately, it does not fit in this holder. This is a major inconvenience as I have to remove the case every time I want to use the holder. It also makes me question the durability of the holder as it seems to be designed for thinner cases only.I also found that the holder is not compatible with all types of headrests. It works well with the traditional adjustable headrests, but if you have a built-in headrest or a non-adjustable one, it may not fit properly. This limited compatibility is something to keep in mind before purchasing.Overall, I would say that this holder is only worth considering if you do not have a bulky case on your iPad and if your car has a compatible headrest. If you meet those criteria, then it is a great option for keeping your iPad secure and easily accessible while on the road. But if you have a bulky case or a non-adjustable headrest, I would recommend looking for a different holder that is more versatile.
