I brought the black oil radiator for my bedroom. It's great really heats up the room well. Very easy to use. You can choose how hot you want the room. Second it hoes off automatically when the desired heat has reached the right temperature, it will of course come back on automatically to heat your room up again when your room falls below the temperature you have set it for.You can choose a hour right upto 12 hours if you don't want the radiator to keep coming on when your room falls below that temperature you have set it for.Finally you have a timer you push the pegs in for on in segments of 5 minutes per peg. Like the old fashion timers before we had digital timers.The only slight thing I would say is you can hear a noise when it's on heating a your room up and a quiter noise as the oil radiator is cooling down which is to be expected.I have since brought three more of these black radiators another one for my dinning room. One for my living room. And the last one to keep my garage slightly room as I keep my motorbike in my garage.They are worth the price IMHO but if it's for your bedroom and your a light sleeper this might be a bit too noisy for you. But you definitely could try it if you don't like it send it back. But I'm not sure if you can get a slient oil radiator.

I live in new build flats with occasionally annoying electric storage heaters which means I can't always quite get instant heat when I want it (they only take electricity off the grid between midnight and 7am). So I bought this heater as a supplement for the living room in my larger-than-average 1-bed apartment and have been well impressed by its ability to heat the room so far. Toasty!Only slight quibble is information on how the timer worked was not included, but I have the same type of timer on my hot water cylinder so I kinda knew how it worked anyway (it is one of the round ones with a little lever for each 15 minutes of the day, pushed out for on and pushed in for off. Only relevant if you want to use the timer facility anyway)

This is an oil and fan radiator. There are no instructions in the instructions on how to work the timer! They would have been helpful. The oil filled parts great. When I turned on the fan it immediately began screeching with metal on metal sounds. It cut out after about 5 seconds. I tried again and could smell it heating up, but could not hear, or feel any output from the fan. I then heard a loud clunk, which I take it was the safety feature kicking in, switching the unit off. If you get one that fully works and has timer instructions, I would score it much higher. I was able to contact the seller who replied within 48 hours. They immediately offered a replacement or a full refund. Given we like the unit a lot, we are opting for the replacement. I will keep this review updated. Our replacement radiator arrived yesterday. After fitting the wheels, we waited an hour to ensure the oil had settled back into its correct position. The radiator works perfectly. No issues at all with the fan part. It is very quiet and we are very pleased. Customer care at the sellers responded quickly and efficiently. Strangely the issue was with DPD, the delivery Co for the replacement. The tracking number just kept saying 'not received the parcel yet' up until delivery was made. DPD are normally far better than that.

I bought 3 if these radiators. Within less than a day it became clear that one if them was broken as it started making a large humming noise.As an electronics engineer it was also obvious that the issue was the mechanical timer. It's crap.I started the returns process and was greeted with a very very complicated process in which they would collect the items and issue a replacement. This could take weeks. On top if that it was also clear that both my other radiator where also defective. I would have to do the returns procedure for every heater.No.Instead I simply disconnected the timers from the radiators. I'm aware that I cannot return them now but I needed a solution and quickly. These where providing secondary heating to my business.Do not buy these heaters. They will make noise. They squeal as they operate. Gearing screams and will eventually fail causing the timer to fail.Just don't bother. The easiest way to remedy the situation is to just not buy one in the first place. Which is a real shame because they get hot, are very very warm and 3 of them can adequately heat an 800 square foot room.

The Oil-filled radiator is a quality purchase the oil smells a little when first turned on but soon settles down . The controls are great with the remote control and LED display. However, most important of all is the heat output and it warms large rooms very quickly. A good value purchase .5 stars.

I’d be lost without this. The timer great to use. The heat really warms up all my living room through to the kitchen. I know it’s bit more expensive but the size of the radiator really does give more heat out. So much better than the smaller ones. Only used it in the first setting. Maybe turn it to number 2 if it snows. Three setting I’d melt haha. It’s so warm. Thank you for making this

Looked fab in black and would have been good. However it only worked for 2 days. The timer function ( if a little rattling and thin plastic ) was a brilliant feature. only put the fan on briefly but worked ok, a bit cold with it on. Not a great amount of heat but my room is large and old so very drafty.It’s a shame it konked out as I was happy enough.I’ve had to go back to using a heater we keep upstairs, that was half the price with only a few ‘fins’ that is still going strong after 7 years I bought from Lidl. I would have exchanged it for another heater incase it was a one off, but wasn’t given the option. Might try a convector one as it’s a lot cheaper.

My office is in a garden cabin and this oil heater is the answer... being able to choose from all the power settings, thermostat and timer is great and the fan is good to get the room heated quickly then turn off. Very sturdy build and nice looking too.
