Full disclosure, I did not buy this for the waterproof tech. So I'm pleased as pudding over this purchase. I can write stuff down on the go just like I wanted!If you ARE interested in the waterproof tech, be warned! Sure, the top and bottom are waterproof. But if it's raining outside, don't for a second think your paper won't get wet. I'm sure it's pretty easy to understand why, but if you need me to spell it out for you: you still gotta flip the top cover over to actually write whatever it is you want to write, and rain doesn't stop for no man. Buy at your own risk.Also, who is buying this as a gift? Laaaaaame. Be a better friend.

I carry one of these in my hipbelt to jot notes at work. I like that they can get wet, never smear (at least not yet), and come in lots of sizes. The covers are tough, so they won't die before the notebook is used up. Handy enough that if I leave it in the van, I'll go back and get it. A simple product that is well done!

I don’t know how this works, but it does. Water beads right off the pages and does not wash away pencil. Very good item.

I been buying this notepad for years. I work in healthcare and it fits just right in top scrub pocket. Paper is extremely high quality. I will cont buying this product for as long as it is available
