Cant go wrong for the price
Great mask for the price, looks cool too. Comes with several extra lenses. I was worried about the solar powered part of it but it works amazingly. Tried it on to look around and before i could even look at the light bulb it automatically tinted. Super fast response with adjustable settings and padding around the headband. Cant go wrong.

Works great
Got these for the eclipse because I couldn't get solar glasses locally due to being sold out living near the totality zone. In addition to this I need a welding hood any ways. It electronically adjust from shade 9 to shade 13. Solar viewing can be done at shade 12 and up. The response time on the auto-darkening will keep up with the best of them plus it has a grind mode. Fits in nicely with my welding cart. Fits well once adjusted and comes with lens protectors. first photo is of midday sun with no clouds at full brightness through the camera of my Moto z force. Second is edited through snapseed to enhance contrast to sharpen the edges and achieve near natural color given the green tint. Use low iso settings with very fast shutter speeds. I have no doubt these will do great welding as well with anything I'll ever need.

Best hood for the money
I’m not a welder, but was in the welding supply industry for more than half of my working career and welding/fabrication has had a role in almost everything I’ve done before or since. This hood is extremely light weight and the head gear fits very well on my medium sized head. It’s not, however going to compare to the brands used by professional / production welders because I don’t think that it quite durable enough, but for a shop where it might see moderate use, it’s perfect. The true color lens is the best lens I’ve ever used. It’s crystal clear, and I can finally see the puddle despite the arc, which has always been a problem for me. I don’t know how long the thing will last, but even if it’s only a year, for 40 bucks, it’s well worth the money.

I’ve used it for a little under a year it’s one of my go to helmets, its easy and adaptable
I’ve used this helmet for almost a year now and it still works good for me, I’ve put a couple of scratches and it’s a little beaten up but that’s just love marks. Not the sturdiest helmet I used but it’s also not weak and it’s good for the price if you’re a beginner and want to go with an auto darkening helmet I strongly advise this helmet. You can adjust the shade darkness and the sensitivity and you can turn it to grind so if you’re in a shop that requires you to wear a face shield you can just use your helmet, its adaptable and easy to use.

The headband is comfortable enough and the sensitivity and speed adjustments work quite ...
I have not used higher end helmets very much, so my opinion may not be as well-informed as some. I do find this helmet to work perfectly well for the moderate amount of hobby-welding I do. I have no complaints. The headband is comfortable enough and the sensitivity and speed adjustments work quite well. Comes with quite a few extra lens protectors.

Good welding helmet for the price
The helmet arrived quickly and was easy to setup and use. The auto dark features quickly darken depending upon the settings.

Works well
Simple helmet low price helmet, darkens as soon as I start welding, and seems to work alright. I can't compare with other helmets as to how fast it shuts off, but it has not flashed me so far (failed to turn off). It was not fully assembled, but is pretty simple to settup (just screw the headband in). The screws are both right hand threads, so you have to turn them opposite directions to tighten the mask (pretty intuitive if your used to machine screws anyway). The screws are fully plastic, so you have to be gentle with them. I did find that the front of the helmet is extremely comfortable, with a nice soft pad. The back however, is quite uncumfortable for extended periods of time.Overall, inexpensive, and allowed me to get into welding, i'm happy so far.

Well Worth the Money
Let me just say that I am not a professional welder, and I haven't touched an arc welder in 20 years, and managed to buy an older commercial welder for very cheap.I purchased a single shade el cheapo helmet; essentially what I taught myself with 20 years ago...except this one didn't have a flip shield. I couldn't run a bead if I tried.Enter this helmet...adjusted the shade and WOW! I could SEE!Okay, so for $45, you get auto on variable welding shade. The head band and attachments are REALLY cheap, but serves the purpose.Bonus is they send you a bunch of protective shields to replace the existing one if you end up having your face next to the arc, or are using "grinding mode" (which seems kinda funny since this helmet is not recommended for grinding). No fancy designs ( I have nothing to prove by wearing my helmet..I'd rather be pleased by the quality of my welds). If I was running an intro level welding course, these are what I would buy en masse.
