Magnet is better than suction cup

I had been using sun sun wave makers. Nothing but trouble. Had 2 on my 125g African cichlids tank. They worked great for awhile. Then they started getting very load. 1 went out and 2 week later the second one so loud I was afraid for my fishes lives! I yanked it out and started looking for another brand that won’t break the bank. I found this aqua neat. Good price so I bought 2 of them. Very impressed! I plugged them in and from the start they are much quieter than the sun sun. I’ve been running for only a week so I can’t say how long they will last. I will update if issues occurs. I love the design. Much more flexible. You can point in many directions. Magnet works well too. I highly recommend this wave maker

I purchased this to replace another one from a different manufacturer that had run its course. This one states in the ad description above that it runs quietly, but it DOES NOT. It rattles and makes a disturbing humming noise that my poor turtle has to listen to all day long. I've tried different placements, angles, etc. and nothing will stop the noise. It's so loud I can hear it outside the room so I can't imagine how the turtle is suffering. I wish I could return it and get my money back to purchase a quieter one for him.EDIT: Woke up this morning and plugged this in to use and it electrocuted the water!??? It's less than 3 months old. HIGHLY DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!!! So I tried using it despite the noise and it almost kills my turtle??? No response from seller despite my negative rating. This is a bad seller. Takes your money and runs apparently. This is also a dangerous product. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Worked well for for my 75 gallon freshwater on lowest speed. Felt too powerful on the other power settings... Ordered 2 but one stopped working after a month. Amazon replaced and shipped for free because it was still with in the 30 day return window. Not sure what would have happened if it was out of the window.Was not noisy and fit well in the back of the tank and out of sight behind my driftwood.

To save $10 I went with this wave maker over another, recommended brand. At first this was great. Really made a difference in pushing poop etc to my filters. I’ve always left it on, haven’t touched it at all, but I have noticed it’s lost power. Not pushing water like it used to after 3 weeks. Maybe it’s clogged, from where it intakes water. I’ll check that out and update the review

Weaker than I hoped, because I am using it to agitate the surface of the water in the aquarium, I was hoping for wider service area, it's very narrow. Also there's a white knob on it that I have no idea what it does.
