GED®Test, REA's Total Solution For the 2014 GED® Test (GED® Test Preparation) 1st Edition

Online pre-test was very helpful pinpointing where your weaknesses are so you can focus your study time on problem areas.To give some insight into my review, I've always excelled at Language Arts, Social Studies and Science. My biggest struggle has always been math. I really appreciated the in-depth explanations prior to practice questions and the step-by-step break down in the answers. It helps to see where you made a mistake if you answered incorrectly. I previously purchased the Steck-Vaughn 2014 GED Mathematical Reasoning prep book and was sorely disappointed. Of the two, this book is a real gem. Loads of information in the book itself plus the two practice tests and one pre-test included, this book is a very good price for what you're getting.

I purchased this GED book along with Master The GED Test and Cracking the GED Test because they present the same material & test taking strategies but there is enough difference in the way the material is presented to justify the cost of all 3. That being said, any 1 of the 3 is an excellent stand alone source for being successful on all parts of the GED test the 1st time around. As a matter of fact, I believe the combination of these 3 books would be excellent an source to build a homeschool curriculum around. Flesh it out with hands-on activities and add electives.

I have not worked on any other section yet, but the Mathematics section was full of errors. However, if you are decently smart, you will know when there is an error on the book's part and you will still be able to successfully benefit from the book.Update: I scored a perfect score on the Mathematics section of the GED test!

It has many mistakes in it and it is not comprehensive enough in its explanations. It seems as if it was rushed to market. There are errors On the English, science, and social studies test. The Math section jumps immediately to two variable equations. The science test is based on knowledge whereas the social studies test is still a lot of reading comprehension. I don't know if this is correct. I bought this book because it had the highest reviews at the time and I was ABLW TO LOOK INSIDE. I don't want to buy a book that makes it difficult to even look at the index.. What I do like about this book it provides an indication of what my students need to learn for the 2014 GED test

Everything you need. 4 months of reading and I passed. Then I graduated college, then I got a "goodjob" then I realized the world still sucks and the government treats it's people like cattle and it's all a distraction to keep you from knowing the secret.

I like the online pretests. The pretest result indicated my weaknesses on what skills I need to strengthen before go for the real GED exam. I like this textbook.

I had bought a different book, first, which only had there tests in it, and no tutorial, which is fine if you don't need that kind of assistance, but I`ve been out of school for nearly 25 years, so I needed the extra help, a lot has changed, so this was an excellent choice.

It's pretty decent, but it's difficult to really learn without having someone explain the content better. Sometimes the answer descriptions are just a bit confusing. I'm not going to continue using it.
