Loved this one!!!
This is the fourth book in the Licks of Leather series and it is Ross Walker and Harmony Sharp’s turn this time around.I couldn’t put this book down! This book had me at the first pages and literally didn’t let me go until the end!Ross has his demons and can’t seem to shake them off – or doesn’t really want too. Everyone in the group is trying to reach out to him, to help him find the “old, fun Ross”. Ross is one broken, beaten and damaged fella. But then that sneaky, meddling promoter/agent of Licks of Leather, Quinn MacKinnon has something, I mean, someone up his sleeve, Harmony Sharp.Harmony is a vlogger and teaches how to achieve inner peace through self-enlightment. However, this simple Kentucky Mountain girl is going to need all the help she can get – as climbing the mountains in Kentucky will be far easier than climbing into the heart and soul of mountain Ross Walker.Love, love, love this series. So far Ross and Harmony are my favorite couple, but really all the members of Licks of Leather and their leading ladies have a special place in my book world!

This book was wonderful and I’m ready for Syd now
Loved this story! Ross is the rockstar drummer for Licks of Leather and the guy is a sad broken mess. The manager Quinn hires a young lady to play the part of Ross’s girlfriend and when they meet its explosive. Harmony is sweet and beautiful, her caring nature just strips the pain Ross has been living with for the last four years. In fact his sad and lonely childhood was almost as bad as the thing he’s living with for the last four years. Ross is a wonderful caring guy with a great heart and Harmony knew it all along. It’s glorious when he lets her in. I can’t wait to read about Syd because I know his childhood was an even bigger disaster then Ross had. I recommend this book highly, in fact all four books are outstanding. I’m ready for Syd now.

All The Right Notes
Wow! Jenna Jacob blew the doors off with Rock Me Faster. It started off with riveting intensity and only got better from there. It's a deeply emotional and extraordinary love story and Jenna hits all the right notes. Ross Walker has so many demons buried inside that he's pretty much ceased living except when he's playing the drums. Harmony Sharp is full of serenity, peace and beauty. She sees the man behind the walls and realizes that she not only wants but needs to help him. She's light to his dark, innocence to his depravity and the calm in the middle of his storm.

hot and steamy
My goodness Jenna Jacob's doesn't disappoint in Ross's story. It was so fabulous and addictive. I had a hard time putting it down to sleep.I will say I expected there to be more pushback from Sylvia. I was thinking she was going be more problematic than she was.The story itself was fun and finding out how and why Ross was so closed off was so sad but totally well written.I think the way all of the characters create a united front is ah mazing as Harmony would say. They all create a family unit we all wish we had.I am anxiously awaiting Syd's story. I only have one question for the author...Can you please write faster?

I love Ross buttttttt
There were some major cringe factors with this story, I’m disappointed to say. I was so looking forward to Ross’s story—and overall, I did enjoy it—but I can’t even imagine how many times I rolled my eyes during this book.—I’m surprised they didn’t get stuck that way!****SPOILERS BELOW****First of all: Angie’s not only known Ross since he was FOUR years old, but was his mothers BFF?! Gross. Nope! Sorry. Gross. While I really, really enjoyed her getting a HEA, I just can’t deal with the ick factor. I wish that Ross’s “other” needs had been met by someone else.—Even someone he knew from his childhood or teen years who WASN’T basically a mother-figure for him. It’s just creepy & gross. SorryNotSorry.2) I’m super not into the ultra hippy/pray to all the moon & sun & stars & goddesses, etc, and rocks have “magic powers” that can literally heal you crap. It was really just way, way too much & my eyeballs were getting sore from rolling so much.3) the whole BDSM thing felt **completely** unnecessary & wedged-in with no purpose whatsoever. It made no sense & was really extraneous4) it’s creepy AF that her dad asked if his mid-20’s daughter was “still a little girl”. No. She’s a woman because she’s an ADULT. Mind your own genitals tyvm.5) sexual activity in the shower while you’re fresh out of the hospital with a dislocated knee (which somehow doesn’t require crutches?) is not only unrealistic AF, but just a horrible idea.6) Ross deciding to skip condoms altogether without ANY discussing or obtaining consent? Not ok. At all. They literally waited weeks & weeks & Ross planned virtually every single detail. They could have discussed that aspect of the plan ahead of time and/or gotten Harmony on birth control (if she so chose).7) in book 2, they agreed to extend the time between tours to 6 months, not 3. Now all of a sudden, it was shortened by even more?! What?!8) major issues with how Ross completely flipped his switch in the hospital. Yes, the discussion needed to happen. But it was WAY over dramatic to the point of feeling gaslight-y & cruel. Not cool. (“I love you & will do anything for you.“ “No! Stay away from me! I’m a terrible person & run far away now! I’m leaving!” The timing for that discussion & drama should’ve happened prior to the crash.)9) kinda disappointed that Ross didn’t dance at all. In one of the books, he danced & they were surprised that he was so good at it. Also kinda disappointed that none of the other band members met up with them at the mountain. All that said, I really was glad to get to know Ross better, and to get to meet Harmony. I’m glad that Ross was finally able to vanquish his demons & find some joy. I’m excited to get to know our lovable, goofy Syd & learn more about why the poor guy clearly just wants so desperately to be loved. I really hope that the loose ends from the previous books are tied up in this final story too.

Rocking
This series keeps getting better and Jenna Jacobs never disappoints. Ross’s story is so good. Seeing that Quinn ants to get him to open up and leave the past behind and gets Harmony to help, him. Seeing how these two get to know each other and fall for each other, I could not put this book down. Getting to see all the other band members and significant others in this book never disappoints. Seeing Harmony get along with Sophia and Mia, you only missed Tori. I can’t wait for Syds book.

Poignant and soul stirring...
The author warned me I would need tissue while reading this story. Ross Walker has a tragic past. Withdrawn into himself, and a little anti-social, his only outlet is his music. When Harmony Sharp is hired to portray his girlfriend, neIther of them realize what soul searching peace she would bring him. This was a story told with the agony of addiction and the struggle it takes to beat.
