Useless for intended purpose
The way this product is shipped needs to be re-evaluated. I have been doing upholstery for many years and usually buy bonded dacron 1" thick to use as foam cushion wrap. My local supplier was out, so I tried this. Extremely disappointed. Even knowing it was thinner, I thought I could double it up. The intent is to smooth any imperfections in the foam, joins, edges etc. This wrinkled and inconsistently compressed mess just added wrinkles and made the cushion foam appear to be less than even. It is also not as stiff as it should be for this use. It might suffice for some dining chairs, but certainly not large bench or chair cushions. Pictures on-line should show how it is packaged, not in some fluffy big roll. There is a reason why is looks this way when you buy it in stores, because it's not supposed to be wrinkled or compressed. If it can't be shipped appropriately, don't sell it. The box mine came in was huge, crushed, all amazon tape torn, and stuck together again barely with clear tape. Ends left open. Three small tickets suggested I go to a site and thank the company for my free gift...what? Nothing else in box. Did it get removed? When I looked at the link, it was the same product I just bought listed for $29.99 instead of over $60. So I'm supposed to buy it again? No thanks. I went to ship return, which cost $45. No way. Pay $100 for what at home would cost $30. No. I will just keep it and use it for stuffing something or packing material. I will be way more judicious at what I order through amazon from now on. Often times I buy a few more products to get free shipping, not sure why, they end up coming in three different shipments in overly huge boxes. What are we doing? Surely that costs more than just sending one item for free. Rethink this marketing, Amazon. It feels like Amazon is taking advantage of customers when they don't have to deal face to face with explanations, all in the hopes of being the one seller. Go buy local, my local supplier sells 1 inch thick 54 inches wide, proper product usable immediately and unwrinkled and uncrushed for $6/yd.Even now as I write this, the review box comment prompt is suggesting I mention "comfort" and "value for money". Why, to fit the algorithm? With this purchase there was NO "comfort" and NO "value for the money".Just wasted time, effort, resources and money. We need to snap out of it.

Poor quality, both in thickness and quality, and does not resemble ad pictures
Well i thought i'd do my foam and batting myself for rectangular 24"x30" couch cushions, so ordered the foam and batting. Ordered foam from another vendor and it looks great - as described and correct dimensions. This however 48"x5 yards, is virtually garbage. 3/8-1/2? It's probably 1/4" and if i lightly pinch it, it's more like 1/16". Came rolled up, in a 12"x16" box - vacuum packed... so when i cut open the seal bag, it expanded, however even now - 2 days later, the product is all wrinkles and compression lines. There is no way this is ever going to lay flat and smooth - and certainly nothing like the pictures of this product in this ad. Very disappointed. Thought about ironing - then thought better of it, it'd probably melt onto my iron... So to use it or not, i just don't know... Can't stretch it out - making it thinner or wrip it in the attempt? It's what i have now and apparently it costs to return it so i may as well - something's better than nothing??? Paid $69 for something that should have been half decent, you'd expect, but this shouldn't even be sold. DO NOT BUY.

Perfect for our Needs
This product was extremely easy to work with. Bonded to the foam for our sofa cushion replacement with ease after applying spray on adhesive. The thickness was perfect.Excellent product.

Did what I needed it to.
It does come wrinkled as noted by many others, however, it puffs out nicely to thickness described, after unwrapping it, and the wrinkles seem to work themselves out sufficiently under the tension of application. I used these to cover 2 inch foam that I cut out to redo old dining chair cushions, and for that, this did the job nicely.

Bonded Dacron Upholstery Grade Polyester Batting 48 Inch Wide
The product is what it is supposed to be. Am not able to use all of it thou due to harsh folds that the crease won't come out.My guess is that it happens while folding before its rolled. packaged pretty tightly, about the size of a football. Did not contact seller, as it would appear from other feed back the crease is not a new issue.
