Love the concept but the execution could be improved. Plastic seems a little on the cheap side and it has a rattle which also makes it feel cheap. The cord also isn't extremely secure but the cord cutter works wonderfully. I wish it had a holder for a lighter. I would have given it a lower review but the only other thing on the market similar to this is the "spool tool" and the TRD is obviously a much better buy. It can do what the spool tool can but more with the ability to mount it on belts or packs. I am really rooting for the company and wish them the best. They are a small American company and this is a very innovative product. Attwood if you are reading this...1. take away the rattle2. Add a lighter holder3. Make it's mounting options more versatile such as molle comparability4. secure the end of the cord betterOverall it does what it is supposed to and there is nothing else like it on the market

sold as described. recieved what i expected and should perform well enough for it's purpose. reviews have mentioned that it seems cheap and flimsy. this device dispenses 550 cords; it does not drive nails and it does not change tires. customers have complained that it rattles. this item is plastic, it stores and dispenses 550 cord, 100 feet of 550 cord is loaded and ready for what ever you use 550 cord for. the belt clip is the piece that rattles. the belt clip is large and sturdy if you are the type that needs 550 cord at all times. for all the ninjas that move silently, that clip is easy to remove. there are no bearings or bolts to wrestle with. the cord reel is incased by a two sided case that snaps together. simple, no suprises. there are devices offered by competing companies that will help to organize the storage bin of various 550 cord i use when color coordinting is important. they are even more simple in their design but also pricey for not being sold with 100ft of 550 cord included. decided to order the color coyote and it's dark not desert tan. this is going in my tool bag and will work nicely when bike camping or lake and stream fishing. enough features to be considered a tool not just a storage device. not perfect but it would cost much more if it were

I loved it when I first got it, but the belt clip was very loose straight out of the box and would easily come unattached from my belt and my rucksack. I was really concerned that I would end up losing it, but I was continuing to carry it every day anyhow, hoping I was wrong and that it would last. I carried it on my belt as much as I could, but ended up resorting to strapping it down as tightly as I could to the compression straps on the side of my rucksack), because it would fall off my belt every time I'd lean forward or make any kind of quick movement and I thought that maybe due to the rugged and tactical design of my rucksack that the side compression straps (used to compress the gear stored inside your rucksack and tightly secure it, and to hang lightweight items for quick and easy access to them without having to open or dig through your rucksack) would be a more stable location that wouldn't allow it to move or unattach. I was dead wrong, on day three of carrying this item on a two mile walk up the road home in the snow, it came unattached somewhere on the way (I didn't hear it drop because I was walking in the grass/weeds). I'll be lucky to ever see it again, but I really enjoyed it while it lasted. High quality Paracord, very nice design with a built in cutter and ruler for quick, easy, and precise cuts with every use. Very low quality belt clip though. I'm disappointed and upset. I can't even return it because I don't know where it's at.

Well made and engineered for anyone who wants or needs to carry some cord in a handy dispenser.Yes there are cheaper ways to carry cord, but I have not found anything that comes close to the convenience of the TRD.I liked it so much I designed and 3D printed a larger version to hold 100 ft. of cord. Not nearly as pretty but functional.I also converted a cheap tape measure to hold much thinner cord like the Attwood 100 lb. micro. Just replaced the tape spool with a 3D printed version for the micro line.

Item is bulky, noisy, and binds when spooling out. The use of the term tactical is merely hype. Thought it was going to be a solid addition to my hunting gear for blinds and meat processing, but ended up having to take apart to unbind the spool.Save your money and make your own alpine coil.

I bought this for my BOB. I thought it would be a good item to keep paracord handy and organized. It will do that but, it’s bulky and heavy. I’m going to use it but I wouldn’t buy it again

This is a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Made from tough plastic. An excellent dispenser for your para cord. I use it in the garden for securing plants. Also added it to my bail out bag.

thought his would have been better constructed with a higher density plastic or polymer. Its kind of thin. It rattles alotnand is kind of sloppy. Its almost guaranteed if you drop this it will break

I use this for my treks and find it super. No more rummaging through the bag to find the tangled ball of annoyance and spend 2/3rds of the trip untangling paracord. Highly recommended.

デフォルトで入っている黒のコードが気に入らないので替えようと思ったらケースが開けられない。よもやと思いコードを全部出したら簡単に開きました。コードの色が選べないので星マイナス1です。

極端に言うといらないって言われたら不要なのかも知れませんが仕事なりで使用する方なら非常に便利かと思いますパラコード以外も巻いておけば荷造り紐などかなりサッと出せて切る事ができますのでかなり使えますね！サイズが大きい分は巻ける量に比例しますので仕方ない感じはあります。パラコード 、荷造りPPロープ、麻紐なども巻けるのでかなり気に入ってます。あとカバー分割は慣れれば簡単ですがコツがわかるまで無茶にすると割れるかもです仕事で便利なので購入しました。
