Q: can squirrels chew into this box?

We have squirrels in our yard but they don't bother with the deck box. The deck box is thick hard plastic. I don't know if the squirrels can chew through the plastic or not, but they haven't yet and we've had the deck box for 2 years.

Q: Has anyone had issues with getting the bottom on? any tips? no matter what i do, i can't get it to click into place.

I didn't use the bottom because I'm using it as a cover for my well in my front yard. It fits just right over it and I put a plant on it. Looks great. You could have the bottom from mine if you want to pay to mail it to you.
