Requires some patience and practice, but well worth the price
I'm actually quite impressed with the operation of this spot welder. The soldering point itself is a little finicky, but works well when you get it right. It also requires both switches to be on in order to solder, for some reason. The spot welder works well, but requires patience to dial in - I recommend a few spare items to practice prior to actual spot welding. I found that I had to change the current dial and number of pulses even when welding several of the same items. And be sure to let it cool down between welds, especially if you are welding a decent number of items.

YaeKoo Spot Welder Review
I bought this welder several months ago hoping to build an electric bicycle battery with it. I bought it because I needed to use the leads given the size of the battery pack that I am building. I had problems with the welder from the beginning. Almost every time I turn it on it trips a 20A breaker. The leads did not work as well as the machine mounted electrodes. I had to max out the current and the pulse settings to get any weld at all on 0.15 mm nickel strips to an 18650. Nine times out of ten the weld would not hold. After maybe 10 attempts at welding the leads would get so hot that I could not hold them. I discussed these issues with the seller and they sent me a video of the proper way to weld using the leads. The procedure did not help the quality of the welds. If this was a $50 welder I would not be that upset but since it is over $200 and it does not work at all I am not happy. The seller has not returned my emails now.

HOW DO YOU SAY "AWESOME" IN CHINESE!!!
THIS PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED RIGHT AWAY,I RECEIVED IT IN PERFECT CONDITION,THE PACKAGING FROM THE MANUFACTURER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER,AND THE WELDER WORKS GRRRRREAT!!!.....SO FAR!!!I WAS VERY HAPPY THAT THEY INCLUDED A LOT OF STRIPS FOR WELDING BATTERIES TOGETHER. THE SOLDERING IRON HEATS UP VERY QUICKLY AND SEEMS TO MELT SOLDER EXCELLENTLY!!!THE ONLY THING I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY WAS TO PRINT AN ORDER FORM IN ENGLISH FOR ORDERING SPARE PARTS. I KNOW THE ELECTRODES WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED EVENTUALLY. I EMAILED THE ADDRESS ON THE PAPERWORK THAT CAME WITH THE UNIT, (WHICH WAS ALL IN CHINESE, EXCEPT FOR THE EMAIL ADDRESS) AND THEY REPLIED AND SAID I CAN ORDER PARTS THROUGH THEM. I ALSO FOUND PARTS ON "ALIEXPRESS" FOR REASONABLE PRICES. I DON'T KNOW WHY AMAZON DOESN'T OFFER THESE "SPARE" PARTS.EITHER WAY, I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE.

Good welder, Decent Price, Great vendor!!!
Very decent welder for the price. I tried this same model from multiple vendors and had problems with everyone until I received it from this vendor. I am not sure why, maybe there were updates, but the welder from YaeKoo is the best so far. The pin welder can be fickle and it cannot weld as thick as the pressure welder, but with the right current setting, it can make a battery pack pretty quickly. I would recommend to those starting out and need a decent, economical solution.

YaeKoo 2 in 1 1.9kw Pulse Spot Welder 709A Battery Welding Soldering Machine 60A This machine failed after just 17 .1mm pure nickle tab welds. My first one wasn't working right out of the box. I ordered a new board from China and installed it. That one lasted just 3 .1mm pure nickle tab welds. That's three of these machines dead within a total of 20 very light welds..1 mm is very thin and only 1/3 the machines rated capacity... yet .1 mm is the maximum these machines are capable of welding through at full power. The transformers are way under powered and the control pcb is weak and poorly designed. All the spot welders that look similar to this are the same inside. Avoid the headache by building your own from a microwave transformer and control it with an arduino board.
