Hobonichi Techo Planner Book [English/A6/January 2022 Start/Monday Start]

I had actually purchased this agenda from the hobonichi website, only to realize the shipping was more than the book! I tried looking on Japanese stationary sites based in America, but they were sold out. I was wary about buying this since it might have been a knock off, but it is the real thing. This is my second year using this planner and I love it. It has a whole page for each day of the year, which makes it easy to write down a lot each day. I would recommend this, even though the price is a little steep. I also like that I can reuse the cover I bought for it since the cover I have was around $90. This book lasts and is roomy.

The planner is beautiful and feels great. Writes pretty flat and closes flat. There are many reviews to detail more, so I’ll just describe my unique uses:-On daily pages, I use the left half as intended for a schedule, and the right half for a daily checkbox to-do list. The grid print makes this possible.-On the line-a-day pages at the beginning, I track my exercise. One column each for different muscle groups, and an X in that column for that day if I exercised it. Good visual way to see that nothing is falling by the wayside and to track work over time.Price is pretty high for what you get, but I use it every day. It’s worth it to me because I like pen and paper to track progress.

LOVE this!!Pros:- LAYS FLAT!!!!!💓- Size (A6 - approx 4in X 6in). Feels really good to hold in hand. Easily portable.- Tomoe River paper feels and sounds fantastic! And is a dream if you're using fountain pens.- Whole year with 2-page monthly calendars- Day-per-page with a separate full page each for Sat/Sun- Sturdy-ish cover for being soft cover- 4 mm grid is better than the smaller grid in the Japanese Hobo in my opinionCons:- Don't care for the quotes at bottom- Would love more if 5 mm grid- Size can be a con if you need more space- Tomoe River paper ghosts like crazy

I expected the cover to be rigid, the pages to be rougher, the book to be thicker. Instead the cover is slightly flexible, the pages are smooth & thin (but don't bleed), & the overall profile is slim. There's an elegance to this planner, & yet it clearly was designed to be a workhorse. And the inclusion of monthly calendars as well as daily pages with plenty of writing room suits me perfectly. To top it off, the binding is a work of genius--flexible yet very sturdy. I'm new to Techo planners, but I think I just became a customer for life. The only drawback, in my view, is the lack of a pocket.

Such a perfect way to jot down a little some of the day. I’ve bought one every year for the past three years. And looking back on me memories is such a beautiful thing with two boys. Fountain pen friendly tomoe river paper makes bleed through almost non existent. And for the price it’s the same as all the other websites and of course if you have prime you get it same day or two days. Highly recommend.

I used a hobo techo in the 2nd half of 2021 and it worked really well for me. I enjoyed using this planner. I will continue using this for 2022. I like the space and grid layout of the pages. my only gripe is the unnecessary pages in the back with recipes, tips, etc. I wish that it was blank grid pages for notes instead, but it is what it is. Great for portability and function otherwise.

This is great if you keep a daily planner. The pages are very thin, but can hold fountain pen ink well. There are many reviews on this planner and it is overall respected and sought after.

Perfect for gift

FUTURE BUYERS BEWARE!!!Ridiculous – purchased this notebook on 23/12/22 to use next year (2023). Only on opening and beginning to complete entries do I realise it’s for 2022, not 2023. Examining the listing, I’ve spotted 2022 so maybe I’m the fool and the mistake is on me however it wasn’t clear from the listing, and who sells diaries at full price for year where there are nine days left.Absolutely outrageous, unable to return. Any future buyers beware.

The planner was everything that it says it was and it was exactly what i was after. It came before the due date which surprised me and Im very happy with my purchase

I assumed if I ordered a diary at the end of December 2022 it would be for 2023. I was wrong! I got a 2022 diary a week before the end of the calendar year.
