USB Computer Speaker

Prior to having this speaker, I would always need to connect my AitPods to my PC to get sound as I got rid of my old large external speaker/sub combo because I didn't need it. I started using a screen reader due to bad eyesight and it just became a pain to re-connect my headset each time I used my PC and then reconnect it to my phone when done. I plugged this little guy in and sat it right on top of my tower and it works as well as I'd expect for the size and price. It sounds about as good as a 2nd gen echo dot which is more than good enough for the screen reader. While I wouldn't use this for music or anything requiring good sound quality, I do recommend it for anyone who just needs to hear the minimal sound and doesn't already have a speaker. Setup was easy and the buttons work as expected. The sound is a little muddier than I'd like but that is likely only because the sound coming out of my work laptop is different. If I only used this speaker, it would not be as noticeable.

This tiny thing surprised me. It's very simple, it doesn't have an aux port, just a USB connection to the pc. Simple volume down button on the left, mute button on the centre and volume up button on the right. It is the size of one of those large onions or you can compare it to the size of a softball. I am very pleased with the performance. It has surprisingly pretty good bass, and it can get pretty loud. Of course, is designed to be next to you and your pc, so if you think you can blast music for a party or while you do the dishes in the other room, then get something more expensive, like a BOSE or at least a JBL, but for me, since it sits between my two monitors, it does exactly what I needed it to do, to provide good sounding music while I work and good sound quality for audio books and watching videos. I also appreciate the fact that is only one speaker, pretty well balanced and only one cord to the USB port so no messy three cables in the back of it.

This speaker is easy to use—just plug it into USB and it works. Sound is clear and loud enough for videos, calls, and casual listening at a desk. Pros: compact, no drivers needed, clear audio Cons: bass is limited (as expected for size) Bottom line: Great minimalist speaker if you just need clean sound without clutter.

this is a great little speaker, it takes up very little space on the desk, it will practically boot right up when you plug it in ( with a little help from a computer savey person) Clarity is excellent and there is no background hiss. So much better than the speakers on my expensive lap top which was one reason l got the one l have now. The price is very good value for the speaker, totally satisfied.

Simple installation; great sound out of this small speaker.

I needed a speaker to play basic computer sounds like alerts plus voice for things like Zoom calls. This does the job very well on my Mac Mini. The small size and being a single speaker is another plus for minimizing clutter on my relatively small desk. I have Sonos speakers for music and TV sound, but they're not designed to work as computer speakers. This is not the speaker for people who want deep bass and room-filling sound. No one should expect all that at this very low pricepoint. However, it's perfect for what I needed. One star removed on sound quality because there's a split second of crackling noise when the Mac starts up. But this is more likely an issue with macOS itself than with the speaker.

For the price, this is a steal. Works great!

Its a nice speaker. You get good volume and fair sound quality for the price. If you are expecting to blow out your neighbors windows or listen to a classical jazz record with unparalleled sound reproduction, you're out of luck. Of course if you wanted that, you shouldn't have purchased a mono speaker under $20. For what this speaker is and for what the speaker costs, the sound is good, clear, and the volume is good as well. You cant go wrong. My only issue with the speaker is, I thought it would be smaller. I was expecting something smaller than a tennis ball, but this speaker is the size of a large softball. Much bigger than I thought it would be. It still fits where I wanted it and its still small enough to be inconspicuous, but it is larger than I expected. I think its because I got used to how Amazon products like to make items look massive in the sales pics, but when you get it the item is always tiny. So I think I was expecting the same thing here and it was the actual size portrayed on the page. Silly, but there it is. So in short, buy this, you wont go wrong for the price
