I purchased this battery instead of the more pricey cannon battery and I am so glad I did. This battery functions the same and at a fraction of the cost. I have only used it a couple of times so I can't rate battery life yet but the fit is good and so far it's lasting.

Order this for my Canon EOS quite a few months ago. It worked perfectly as a replacement for the original battery (which wouldn't hold a charge anymore). It has held up perfectly over the entire time I've had it. Also arrived quickly which is a big plus.

I got two of these from Sterling TEK despite the cost was more than other brands. Since the battery goes into a delicate camera, I prefer not to chance with some "too good to be true" products to save couples of dollar. It's worth the extra cost since this is a better battery. It holds the charges well. They last for hundreds of photo before recharging required. The battery's circuitry is fully integrated with the camera battery monitoring, so the battery capacity info displays on the camera. Update May 2015-I just purchased one more battery replacing the previous one. My son uses them on daily basic at his school since he is the school "official photographer", The batteries have been holding the charge very well. As far as rating them, they are still 5 stars.

3/3/2015 Update: I ordered two of these batteries as I have the optional camera grip that accommodates both batteries at the same time. I shot a wedding this past weekend taking over 1,200 shots and still had plenty of charge left. I was using an external speedlight so it had it's own batteries. If I had been using the on-camera flash, I don't know how much charge would've been left, but very happy with the product! Product was delivered as ordered and on time. Batteries fit perfectly and camera didn't have any issues when I turned it on with the new batteries. I haven't used for any extended periods so I can't comment yet about longevity of charge.
