So I had these apparently a long time and never put them on. 1st day/ night was rough. I HATED them!! Did NOT like at all! I put down the guitar and said I’d give it a day. The g string buzzed oddly at the saddle!? I graphite’d it, messed around and could not correct. Oh it sounded terrible! Day two next morning, it sounded nice! No buzz, went away, one of those weird things. Pleasant tones, not worth the higher price. By day three and it was apparent these things sweeten up over time and really bring out the woody tones. I’m okay with the higher price now, the guitar sounds really nice. I like them in the long run and I about pulled them off after putting them on, the first day. Oh they were the worst!! Definitely give these time to break in. But be prepared to be patient, that’s good I don’t like to change strings often apparently.Update: it’s been a few weeks and now the things do not stay in tune!? I’ve never had this type of response. Some string drops right after tuning with plucking a couple notes. I won’t purchase again.

I have used black diamond strings for years because of the looks and the tone, this time how ever I was an idiot and failed to notice that these were not the black coated strings but instead nice shiny silver. I'll call it a happy mistake because these strings help my guitar to really sing. The delivery was incredibly fast, I had standard shipping and it arrived in three days. Black diamond strings never have disappointed me and they certainly didn't this time either.

Got medium light for a full size dreadnaught. Bright, clear, loud. Haven't used Black Diamonds in at least four decades. Still excellent.

My husband was very skeptical about the product when I told him what the cost was but after receiving the order he changed his mind immediately!! Great product, great price, service from the company was first rate. Ordered 6 sets and only received 5 in the first packet and thought "chalk up the missing pack to experience" and was greatly surprised when the 6 set was delivered about a week and a half later as a back order. Really appreciate the honesty and professional service of this company.

If you're old enough to remember Black Diamond Guitar Strings, then you're older than dirt. (But you'll love the sound you'll get from these strings!) 🙂

Inhave been using Black Diamond for iver 30 years. I have tried ithers but none match the performance I want.

I bought these for my husband. He loves them, the sound is great. I will definitely buy again.
