Great Emergency Battery Pack / 4 Mode Flashlight Combo
This is a very nice multi-function battery pack / flashlight. I had to send the one that I purchased from Amazon back, but am reviewing it based on my purchase from another location. This battery pack / flashlight is rugged and protected from the weather by a thick rubber coating. It has the power to charge a phone twice. The flashlight feature on this product is the nice part. It has 4 modes (bright, medium, low and strobe). I haven't tested the run times at different levels of brightness, but supposedly it has 120 hours of run time on low. The light is extremely bright on high and the coverage area is very broad, in other words it doesn't have a narrow beam that throws ;long distances. Is an excellent emergency tool to have on hand. If fully charged it is supposed stay charged for a year if unused, I haven't tested this either. I recommend this product.

NOCO Xgrid XGB3L Full Review from an actual customer!
First off out of the box you can see that the product looks and feels quite rugged. It comes with the XGRID, a usb to micro us but charging cable, and a operations manual. It does not have adapter for the wall just the cable, so you will need to provide that if you are not using a device that you can just plug the usb into. Next, I noticed that the flashlight did not have a protective cover on it, that would have been a good idea to have to prevent the lens from cracking if dropped. After the basic overview I went through the functions per the manual and everything worked great. The flashlight was impressive I went through the different settings and this is one nice little flashlight, the brightness was extraordinary for its size. It is advertised that it will charge a smart phone 2x times, this is not the case for the phone I used. After I fully charged the XGRID to 100% per the manual, I plugged it into my Samsung S6 which was at 10% battery. The XGRID only charged it to 55% before turning off which is a only a 45% charge, so it fell way short of 2X. I then charged the XGRID again to a full charge and plugged it into my IPad Air 2 which was at 26%. Once again it fell short and only charged it to 46%, which was a 20% charge. Another thing that I wanted to mention is that when a device is plugged into the XGRID, the flashlight will only turn on or turn off on high setting. It will not change to medium, low, or strobe. So, to some it up the NOCO XGRID XGB3L falls short on its claims of charging smartphones 2X as my test is concerned. I also question the lack of a cover for the glass lens on the flashlight. It it were to crack, it would allow water, dirt, and dust in and possible short out the entire device. I personally would not take this device backpacking with me, I will be looking else where for a device that performs better and that is a little more rugged.

Bright light; Handy Recharge
I love it; use it every night when I walk my dog. I've only had to use it a couple of times to charge my phone... mostly when camping. One possible improvement would be something that tells you the remaining energy level.

Fits a nice niche, but needs some work
Overall, I like the light. It combines a decent flashlight with a battery pack, so it frees up some space in my EDC. The light is very bright and the battery pack is enough to get a few extra hours out of my iPhone 6S while traveling.Cons:- the flap on the back doesn't stay closed- "soft grip" rubber thats on everything these days- recharges painfully slowly- as another reviewer mentioned, the manual is useless and it took forever for me to figure out how to turn it on the first time. There's a lock mode or something. Once it's out of lock mode, the buttons work as you would expect.

dead upon delivery
I finally got around to charging this up, and I believe I got one with a defective switch - I can't get the flashlight to turn on at all. All I get is an alternating red/green light flash on the power indicator.

Great for having in the car for emergencies or traveling
Brilliant device. The flashlight is a non adjustable flood light but with the 200+ lumens you dont need to everything gets lit up. The power supply is 3,000mAh which can charge 2 tablets easily. The only draw back i see is the tail cap which houses the usb power supply it has a difficult time staying closed. I guess thats why its only water resistant instead of proof. All in all im happy with my purhase.

Great little flashlight/battery pack
Bought two of these, one for me and one for my wife. I own more flashlights than one person should have. With that being said, this is one that I am glad I bought. Like the light modes and the battery pack for charging phones is a plus. My wife used the battery pack on her phone while streaming a football game, I was impressed on how long she was able to watch the game and her phone was charged when the battery pack died. Also, really like the design and feel of the flashlight.

I really wanted to like it.
First, it came in locked mode. You have to hold both buttons down for at least 3 seconds, and it can't be charging when you do it. That cased some confusion. After a full charge it only charge my iPhone 7 Plus about 50%. I have other batteries much lighter rated for the same value that charge it nearly all the way.The flashlight doesn't seem as bright as advertised, but I have no scientific proof of that.Due to the weight and relatively low charging capacity I am not a fan. I really wanted to like it.
