Awesome little RC. Took some time to get use to the button function. Pretty detailed exterior. The battery is smaller than expected but it lasts pretty long. It isn't super strong, but the arms are sturdy enough, the bucket is metal, and is a bit heavy. All in all it's worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. Took it on vacation with him to the beach and had fun with some sand. Operates well and is good quality with a reasonable price.We have a smaller cheaper excavator for my daughter so she calls this the daddy excavator lol

WARNING! If you see an add for this or any other toy on facebook at a cheaper price DON'T DO IT!Buy it from here! If you are looking for something amazing you wont find that with this toy. If you want something fun to play around with at a decent price then here you go. It will dig in sand but not as smooth as the video shows. It will take a bit of controler work to do it. Sand will get into the gears and bugger it up so a regular shake out is required. It is gear driven and yes you can hear them and will click at the end of the gear or if there is something stopping it. The lights and sound don't work on mine but the smile on my two little boys face when I brought it out to dig in the sand box with them was worth every penny I spent.

My 10 year old son wanted this excavator after he saw the video online. When we received it, it would not work after the first battery recharge. I contacted the seller and they replaced the battery pack with a higher current version which has worked great with longer battery life. The next day the remote on/off switch got jammed and my son broke it trying to make it work. The seller then replaced the remote in a couple of days and it has been working good since then. In summary, the design is great, very realistic, but the quality needs some work and the customer service is excellent.

I just received this excavator yesterday and have had some operating time to find out how it works. Seeing as how i work with the real machines every day in my line of work, i was skeptical to say the least. This machine became available through amazon warehouse and i decided to give it shot, and im glad i did. Movements are very realistic and i felt like i was on the job moving material. Its winter here so i put some popcorn in a bowl and loaded out of that into my 4 and a half year old sons rc dump truck. We had an absolute blast doing this in our livingroom. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but i believe this is a great toy for the cost. Without traveling around much, I got about 45 minutes to an hour of play time off a fully charged battery. I purchased 2 more batteries through amazon for 18.00 when i bought this so that will be more than enough playtime. The only negatives i found was that the bucket could curl in a bit more, when traveling it seems the left track is slightly faster so it slowly turns right, and the batteries take 2-3 hours to fully charge. Ive yet to see how it handles sand and dirt but it seems like itll do fine. The best advice i could give is that if you are thinking about purchasing this, go online and watch some videos of it in action. There are plenty out there and will give you a good idea if this machine will do what you are looking for. Happy excavating!!!

My son loved this at first. Unfortunately, the remote broke 3 months after we bought it. Very expensive for it to only last 3 months!

I enjoy too much playing with my new excavator it looks like the real one.
