Great value
The material is heavy and nice quality. The velcro is strong. Works as expected. We have a 12' long rack with (2) center supports at 4' o.c. It helps to position the end posts so the fabric is tight. I like that this cover allows the wood to breathe. Very pleased with the outcome for the price we paid.

GREAT COVER GREAT PRICE
I bought this to replace a shelter logic wood rack cover that was well worn. This cover is WAY BETTER, it is heavier canvas, has longer sides, the Velcro end closures are MUCH nicer, and it has ties at all four lower corners to secure it from blowing away. (Very important on a lake front home). If I could give it more stars I would have!!

Not built to last...especially for the cost...
I hate two log racks one for this year's wood near the fire pit and one out of the way for the wood that is seasonijng for next year. I thought I would buy a "nice looking" cover for the rack near the pit for esthetics and then just use a folded tarp to cover next years wood. Long story short, the tarp on the other rack is 90% of what it was when it was new at the same time as this product. That was 2 seasons ago. It is a nicer looking product but $35 every two years or $12 for a yet to be determines time period....and I am going with the standard tarp for now on. Basically but an oversized tarp, then fold it to match the roughly same parameters as this product so as to not fully cover the wood, just cover the top and a few feet down the sides. I used zip ties to make a similar shape and attach it to the frame. In theory you could probably cut the tarp to meet the same exact shape if you had a heavy duty sewing machine and then have 2 or 3 products for $12...but I haven't gotten to that point yet. Not a terrible product but know you will have to rebuy this every 2...maybe 3 years.

Keep the wood dry
I just purchased this for the second time. My first purchase was two winters ago. I purchase a half cord of wood each year. The first year we had on of the velcro strips pull off one corner. The velcro just doesn't seem like its attached all too good. Once we had the first issue, we held the velcro on both sides when we were opening a corner. First cracks in the cover started appearing the second year when the cover started becoming more brittle. It is stored in our backyard getting only late afternoon sun. Winters get into the 20's and snow fall is very little.Overall though, I was satisfied at the cost versus length of time it lasted. Our BBQ covers last about the same length of time.

Lasted 1 1/2 Years
We purchased this cover to go over 8' of rack after reducing our 12' firewood rack to 8'. We purchased it in Oct. of 2016 and used it year round until today, end of March 2018 when it finally tore in two places. We didn't have super harsh winters the last two years in DC so it wasn't used in conditions that were too extreme. However, the first year, it did sit out in full sun (we moved it under a big pine tree the second year), which I'm sure didn't help the cover to stay in top condition. As expected, the cover faded from deep black to gray, but the velcro never failed. It was a bit awkward to tie the cover to the rack legs when it was full of wood, so we just kept it on by laying two pieces of wood across the top of the rack/cover. One advantage that I did appreciate was that the velcro could be opened from both the front and back side of the rack, as well as the left and right sides. This just made it a bit easier to get to the wood.

Rips Easily
This cover ripped the first season that I had it. I use a tarp with this cover over it to hold it in place. I would not recommend buying this product. Waste of money.

Loved it at first - but product degrades quickly once in use :(
Immediately after purchase (Summer, 2017):It's always a pleasure to receive something from amazon that not only meets, but exceeds, your expectations. So is the case with this log rack cover. After shopping around and reading a multitude of reviews, I had no idea what to expect and, quite honestly, my expectations were low. This rack cover is well designed and constructed, and I have no doubt in my mind that it will survive the corrosive coastal California air and killer UV rays for at least five years. Far, far, far better that another rack cover I ordered and had to return due to poor quality and false advertising.I highly recommend this rack cover.(product review update - should've posted in Fall, 2017)Unfortunately, these rack covers do not hold up to the elements as advertised. I live in San Francisco, California, a relatively mild outdoor climate, and set my firewood racks up in an area with partial sun exposure. After just a few months, the covers began to fade considerably and the seams/stitching showed signs of distress. Sadly, I can not see my two covers lasting much longer than one year. I plan to contact the company to ask if this is normal. Also, I'll do what I can to save them by glueing the seams and spraying the fabric with a protectant. Not what I was expecting when I wrote my rave review upon purchase seven months ago.
