Brilliant
I saw this product advertised in the Times health section. Had suffered with the most painful hand imaginable for several months. Christmas day i was in agony trying to cut up the turkey and my sleep was interrupted at night because my hand was so painful. Thought i would give it a go what could i loose. Cheaper than my physio therapist at £50 for half and hour. I used the power ball at least half a dozen times a day when i got it, initially it made my arm very tired but as my wrist and arm strengthened up i really saw an improvement in my ability to use it and within a week the improvement was amazing within a month my hand was fully functioning and the pain has not returned. As well as getting rid of the pain a side effect is that after years of not being able to open jars and bottles i now can open most of them, my grip has strengthened so much... I can only say use it, persevere with it and see the benefit it can bring.

Excellent product
Easy to start, after a few goes starting with the string I discovered I could start it without the aid of the string. Hold the ball in one hand and spin the inner ball with the palm of my other hand and start the motion, took a few attempts but it’s getting easier now. I do wish I bought the self starter now though, my next one will be.Must admit it was very hard holding on to the ball once it was up to full speed but after just one day that is also greatly improved. All in all a great product for the price.

Does what it says it does.
I had one of these around ten years ago. Back then it was because me, a design student, was suddenly doing business exams, that section of my uni never having moved past handwritten examinations. I was able to handwrite maybe a line or two before my hand started cramping up. Enter powerball, and the thing, once I'd figured out how to get it going (more on that later), was a lifesaver , or at the very least, the only reason that I managed to pass those exams. Fast forward to now, where me, as someone who is on a computer @10 hours a day, 6 days a week and suddenly my right hand starts hurting and it’s painful to move my fingers. Oh-oh. Google tells me ‘rsi’. As does a friend of mine who hears the basic description and says “Yeah, that’s RSI. It happens at this age in your profession”. Around that point, the fuzzy memory of my old powerball comes up and after searching through some old boxes realising that I don’t still have it (and even if I did, I definitely would not still have the wee red chord required to get it going). So I buy a new one, which arrived about a week back and…wow. As I said in the title, it does what it says it’ll do. I’ve been using it for barely five minutes a day, and perhaps it was because I’d just started getting RSI symptoms, I dunno, I’m not a medical professional, but even after that the pain in my hand, wrist and fingers is virtually gone. It does come back if there’s been a particularly work-heavy day, but considering everything, I wasn’t even expecting this much drastic improvement in such a short period of time, it’s great. Now we get to the negatives. Getting it started. Now I have a challenge, try to explain to someone how to get this thing going. Do you see the issue? It’s not that you can’t explain it, it’s just unless they try it themselves / already figure it out, you telling them doesn’t really help. It’s the whole riding a bike analogy. I was able to get it going after a decade since I last used one without any real trouble, but I do seem to be the exception. All that said, there IS a self-started model available, so if that’s a problem, you could always go for one of those.

Wonderful bit of kit.
Brilliant bit of kit. I had one of these about 10 years ago and it was wonderful for gaining general arm strength. Fast forward a decade and I've bought the upgraded model to help recover from a broken wrist, after a week of use I can already feel the extra strength gained and the reduced pain.

So far so good
WellI’ve had operations on both my elbows in the last for tendonits, they helped for awhile . In recent years the pain has returned this time in my hands (thumbs) in particular. I’ve tried various splints and supports. When I saw the powerball I thought why not .I’ve used it everyday over the past few days of owning it and I have to say it has eased the pain I’ve felt, it’s not a cure but after use I have a good part of the day where the pain is reduced or gone .Time will tell but so far so good and I’m happy with the results.

Fantastic if you are a massage therapist!
This is the best excersise tool I've ever used. I am a massage therapist and was freaking out about going back to work after lockdown, as I gave my boyfriend a massage and realized my arms were shot to pieces! This simple fun tool excersises your fingers, wrists, forearms, biceps and triceps all at once! I've heard some people find the technique tricky, but luckily I seem to be a natural. There's loads of videos to check out on you tube for help. Would highly recommend. I feel like Thor 😆

Doesn't seem to work at all
As a male in my 30s, I have previously sprained my left wrist badly, this device doesn't seem to help reduce the pain. I also suffer from mild athritis on my right hand, especially my fingers from typing, haven't noticed any improvement. For my left wrist I have completely stopped using it to lift anything heavy, I still type 8hrs a day for 5 days a week. Maybe this device is a gimmick.I never bothered returning it for a refund since it does seem to warm up my forearms. If you're after a morning body warm-up this might do, but for reducing pain caused from sprains/athritis it's useless.

It is really work!
First of all it is working! That is amazing. For rehabilitation after your broke your hand or other issue I think it is very good exercise. For those who need to have good hand grip and they make exercise I will prefer metal one because it is heavier. Personally i will buy metal Power Ball in future but I hope it will be little cheaper. My suggestion is use glove when exercise long because after 5 minutes exercise on my little finger it made a bladder and I did not even feel it until after a small piece of skin fell off. Nothing bad but it still better to use gloves. I made 13107 on Autostart Pro :)
