Okay.. but time will be the judge.
Bought and used for a Samsung 980 pro for my PS5.The heatsink itself feels fine, but nothing to boast about as its just a small and probably mass produced piece of copper. The thermal pad and bands they provide however are a joke! The pad is so super thin and had a side of it literally crumbling off the strip (worth noting i didnt have any extra thermal pads or bands on reserve so i had to use what was given)The bands were 4 super tight and tiny, clear, elastic (barely) and i had to get another set of hands to use paintbrushes to separate the rings and slide the nvme through a tiny gap and finessing it all together.3 stars i feel is more than fair considering its only a single sided cooler, it has BAD hardware provided, and came with no sort of packaging and all came together in a clear ziploc bag. I worry that as i use the drive the thermal pad or rings will give out or cause expensive problems down the road. Other sellers selling better heatsinks for the same price should be reconsidered if your only reason for getting this one is because it ships sooner than some others. It may be well worth the wait to spend the same and get something that doesnt make you worried it has an expiration date.

Heat sink
it is cheap price, but could not tell any difference in temps from other heatsinks.

Easy installation, fast results
I purchased 2 of the smaller 2mm thickness thermal heatsinks for my gaming laptop and was very pleased with the results I got! The installation was easy, though I should mention I used tweezers to stretch and apply the rubber bands onto the heatsink. I used an app called OpenHardwareMonitor to get my thermal results and I saw that before the install, my m.2 with my steam library would idle around 111.4f after about 30min of use. After installation, that temp dropped down to idling around 91f! I feel a lot better about any toll thermals might have on my m.2 over time after seeing such a drop (I honestly didn't think it would be that significant of a drop tbh)

Literally bare bones heatsink with shoddy looking and feeling components
Got this for my PS5 to use on my Samsung NVMe SSD 980. It had no manufacturer's packaging and was packed into a tiny zip lock bag. Came with 3 clear small rubber rings (to hold it onto the SSD) which looked like they'd break once they've been under heat stress after prolonged use. I thought the thermal padding and the heatsink itself would have sufficient adhesive to hold on the SSD (they did not). I was not confident in the rubber components holding up after being installed for a long period of time. They're also difficult to slip on since there's no distinct groves on the heatsink itself to show where they'd wrap around. Also there's no instructions. This thing literally looked like it was generically manufactured since they took no care in packaging it. With how expensive these SSDs are as well as the PS5s that are surely going to house many of these purchases I don't recommend this product due to shoddy manufacturing. Since it's hard to get these heatsinks right now I did manage to purchase one from Reletech through New Egg. It was cheaper and ironically better made with complete top and bottom coverage actually held together in a casing that clips together. If you can find that still in stock and need one right away I highly recommend that brand. Skip this one. Better safe than sorry especially if you're going to house these things in expensive tech whether it's a PC or PS5!

Nice fit,
I like that it comes with 3 little plastic rings. Not sure what they're for, but I used them to hold it to the drive, instead of using the sticky tape

Good
Product was easy to install, had no problems to fit with my ssd.

Works great
I used this for my ps5. Yes it does work how ever it is held down by rubber bands. M.2ssd does produce heat. Heat and plastic don't work together obviously. So I got another heatsink that use screws to hold in the m.2ssd in place

It WORKS! Fitted to Crucial P5 1TB SSD
Bought it to go with a Crucial P5 1TB which was running 65C deg at idle. The heat sink came with slanted 2mm fins in black with an unpainted copper underside, thermal pad and 4 clear elastic bands. Removed the sticker covering the SSD and placed the thermal pad in its place after removing its clear plastic peel. It is only mildly adhesive, so it'll move if you slide the heatsink while fitting it on. The elastic bands will stretch and slide into place with a bit of effort but it's doable if you take the time. The bands look like the type that will harden with the heat and keep the heat sink in place, hence, the spare bands if you intend to change it around. Temp readings with heatsink in place is 57C deg. Did a short stress test to the drive which brought the temp to 66C deg. Left it idle and temp dropped back to 57C deg within 5 1/2 mins. Pleasantly surprised with the results for something so simple. Highly recommended.
