A very enjoyable read for this interested in this genre and well presented
Very good read for this interested in this genre and would like further information on this topic. The author expresses themselves very well throughout this literature. I would recommend this book to those who like to have a better understanding or those who already have an appreciation of this and would like to immerse themselves more on this topic. Highly recommend this book / author and seller. Shipping and handling arrived new and without defects and well presented packaging.

Great for practicing rituals
Gives u heads up on items needed for upcoming rituals. But even so depending where you live you naybe limited and unable to do some of the rituals due to fire hazard and or if your not totally open to others about you journey.

Loved this!
Whether you've been following a spiritual path for 30 days or 30 years, this book helps the reader reflect on their own lives and beliefs in order to form a spiritual practice of their own making. Open, honest, and without bias, Timothy Roderick guides the reader on the initiates path with a lesson or ritual each day for a year and a day. Over the 366 days, just like in the traditional initiatory journey, the reader is encouraged to grow and learn. Some reviews have cited frustration with the format of the book and its overview of the sabbats out of line with the passing of their own calendar, however, this aside, I think the book does an amazing job of taking the initiate reader on a journey of self-reflection and teaching of tradition.I ended up purchasing this after falling in love with Mr. Roderick's writing, "Apprentice to Power" - an AMAZING book that made me rethink my avoidance of the term, "wicca".

Don't Wait Any Longer - Buy Now!
I have been interested in Wicca for over a decade. However, as a solitary person, I have not met with anyone who could or would give me any kind of guidance. Now, I have it! This book is perfectly paced and structured to build a thorough understanding of Wiccan principles, correspondences, meditations, observed holidays, etc.I am so grateful, it is the best purchase I have ever made. I was a bit hesitant to spring for the print copy and almost got an ebook, but it was totally worth it to have this book with me to hold on my journey of a year and a day.

Wicca in bite-size pieces.
I am on day 71 of the book, and I am impressed with it. It is well-planned, easy to follow, fun, and most of all, very enlightening. Mr. Roderick makes one think and feel with his exercises; he has one question his/her assumptions about life, and thereby attempts to help one grow as a person and grow into one's personal power. It is quite inspiring. I have only one suggestion that would have helped me immensely in this process. There are quite a few meditations that he suggests one either read and remember or tape for oneself as a guided meditation. I find this problematic because I feel that by having already read or taped the meditation, I have internalized preconcieved ideas before the actual meditation that influence my experience. In my opinion, this book would have been perfect if it had included a CD with the meditations on it.

Learning, learning, learning !
I truly enjoy reading a variety of books that shows me different and insightful views along my chosen path. This book was very informative, showing me yet another vision of the faith. With each writing and the author's take on things, gives me more and more information that allows me to make my ideas and decisions on how I wish to walk.I do not recommend taking each book at its face value, accepting everything as written in stone. Instead, I allow all information in, and based on the varied readings, use them all as a whole, deciding what I feel is right for me.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to broaden their horizons and looking to fill your need for more and more feeding of the soul.

Wicca apprenticeship
The media could not be loaded. This book is amazing!! She really took the time to re-create going through a Wicca apprenticeship. Each 30 days she’ll give you a list of candles herbs and other things that you will need to acquire for your next 30 days of training. Having this book is a privilege and an honor as well as a pleasure.

Exactly what I expected
I got this book as a guide to help me learn more about Wicca so that I could answer questions from my Fiance. He has been asking things that I didn't have the "correct" answer for and this gives me the meaning behind some of the things that I have already incorporated into my life. It is a great book for basic information but reading other books with it is a must in order to get all the information needed to be a solitary practitioner, especially if you lean towards a different aspect of the craft.I highly recommend this book to people looking to learn more about Wicca with the caveat that this is only one way of approaching the craft.

Unrealistic expectations
This book is completely out of sync. So if you started day 1 in February you would be doing yule work in the summer! It doesnt make sense, it's all over the place. Also if you bought everything you needed, you would need so much money to buy it all. One of the spells tells you to get access to a kiln. Who has that?! And who can stay silent all day? I just think it over complicates magic and makes it stressful

Nice safe Wicca for beginners
Nice safe, non-dogmatic Wicca that will keep you occupied for a year and a day -- making things (charms, a wand, incense, oils - plenty of recipes) ); learning things (the wheel of the year, the festivals, symbolism, the Tarot), doing things (easy non-threatening rituals). If you're already on the Wiccan path you might find that you know most of this, or maybe disagree with some of the instructions. If you're a beginner this is a gentle way to start, and it will certainly set you up with your basic ground work if you want to continue with another tradition, although you should obviously realise that not all traditions work in the same way.Worth the money, because there's a lot of information here. It's clearly arranged, an easy read and the next best thing (or maybe even better) than having a face-to-face teacher for the year.

Great Structured Learning
I love Timothys writing. Great book and wonderful if you are looking for a more structured learning. I use this often for its ideas and inspiration, and I have been practising for years. If I were to recommend only 5 books, this would be one of them.
