When we opened the box, we were sure we'd wasted our money. That we'd have to buy another. By the picture, it looks pretty big. The spool though, isn't as big as my hand. So many times when you buy what says 300 ft, the lights are so far apart, you have to scrunch them together to make it look bright and pretty. Not these. They were so easy to put up and look beautiful on the house. The one spool covered everywhere on the roof we wanted. We were able to just roll it out and put them up with ease. They are so bright, and we love the many different options we have. Last year, we had to put up 15 strands of the other lights. When we brought them out, a large portion of the lights didn't work. Which is why I went with this brand. I'll have to wait till next year to see if they'll still be good but, they seem to be a good quality. So I'm thinking they'll at least make it another year. What I'm excited about is not having all those strands to put away. These will just roll back onto that small spool. Our daughter, who put them up, said that even if they don't make it next year, the time they saved her putting them up, makes it worth buying them again anyway. Lol. The remote control is nice, it just doesn't work from a very far distance. Still, definitely worth your money.

Product arrived and worked fine right out of the box, spent a good 2 - 2 1/2 hours running them perfectly and meticulously around the house, all the while the lights worked fine. After finishing and inspecting everything, with everything working fine I moved onto another project. About an hour later all of the lights went extremely dim to the point that you could barely see they were on. I assumed I had just hit the dim setting but after messing with the remote and seeing the faint lights change settings and brightness etc, determined that the product was defective. Super bummed after all of the hard work put into getting them setup nice, but have a replacement arriving tomorrow so will update review based off of how they work after taking the time to swap them all out.

When I first got these lights i was a bit skeptical because the strand was pretty thi, but I lit them up and I was very pleasantly surprised by just how bright these lights are. They lit up my entire 2 story house and my yard, wasn't blinding but just filled in the area with light pretty well. Although after about a week or two I noticed the lights got super dim, wasn't sure what was wrong, tried swapping plugs, bypassing the timer, no avail. But left them up for the season, and when taking them down I noticed a good portion of the cord was missing and basically cut off, since they were already broken I tested their strength zmd was able to just pull with a bit of force and snap the cord. And I left a low rating here, but shortly after the company reached out to me offering a free replacement of the lights with since they have a 1 year warranty, and also stated they would send my concerns to their product development team, whether or not that does anything? who knows, but maybe in the future there will be some extra beefyness to the cord.But why now a 4 star? It's not because they sent me a free set of lights, but it's because of just how cheap these lights are and that they are super bright, have an integrated timer and lighting modes and brightness control and they are 330 feet. The value is immense and every set of lights will have a short coming, and many have no way of getting around it such as brightness or lighting modes, etc. But with these you have all of that and the only issue is durability, and I have a cheap and easy solution, the money you save use it to get flexible pvc tubing, clear or white, each will give a different effect and it will protect the lights from getting damaged and they will be easier to hang up. And I will tell you it's worth it, almost no other company offers 300+ foot Christmas lights at such a price while also offering the same performance these do.The only reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is because I want this company to continue to make lights like these, but I do want them to continue to innovate and make them better, if they beefed up the wires and insulation around them they could have some really crazy good lights, because with how thin they are now and the performance you get out of them it's impressive, so if they beef it up they could push even more out it.So in conclusion, these are some amazing lights, great brightness, great features, but durability is an issue and recommend using clear or white flexible pvc tubing when using outside as stated in my second paragraph.

I got them after seeing similar lights on my BIL's tree. I love lots of small lights on the tree but my SO didn't like the orginal mini LEDs I had. We'd alternate years, my mini-LEDs (he thought were too bright) and his C4 LED's (which I thought were too big). These were a great compromise. Small lights but much softer lights ( blindingly bright). The lighting variety was nice, multi-color, pastel-colors, fading...There were a few things that I didn't like (but not enough to take off stars):The "regular" colors were soft-white/yellowish, blue, red, & green. Orange was noticably misssing. I'm not a fan of pastels but they were quite nice looking.It was a single very long string of the 800 lights so a bit of a pain to put on and take off. It looked beautiful on the tree though and 800 was perfect for my taste (my SO would have been happy with fewer lights). The cable was very flexible so easy to position. There's no end to attach an LED tree topper to, like with a normal string of lights. On the other hand no bulky connectors between multiple strings so that was a plus.Overall I was very pleased with the look and function of these lights!
