Not only was this thing easy to put together, but easily modifiable for the width of the load. I had 31 14' x 6" green boards for my deck. Which is a lot of weight. The extender didn't seem bothered and with the adjustments I felt the load was secure. The pink flag was a nice addition, but I don't think it would last long on many highway trips. I just had to haul within the city. Very much worth the money!

i have a 13' kayak and a standard bed f150 pickup. This worked perfectly. I easily slid the kayak in the back and secured it. it has adjustable width so I could do two or three kayaks if needed. easy enough to take apart and throw in the back seat if you are worried someone might grab it off the truck while you are on the river.

It was easy to assemble and not too heavy for my wife (I don't kayak). To be expected, it rattle. My only disappointment was the pin for the receiver. It's too big for the hole drilled by the manufacturer. Luckily I have one with a lock. It would be a prime item for theft.

This product is well put together and has good safety features. I can now easily load my 17 foot kayak.I would recommend getting pins, similar to the one that attaches to the hitch to replace the provided clips for holding the parts together. My clip worked open.A very nice bed extender.

Solid built piece of equipment that worked well for my intended purpose, which was is to haul kayaks in the back of my side by side. Be sure to check the dimensions given in the product description to make sure it will adjust to the position you need it to.

Love that it works 2 ways. Up tall to work with backrack, or down low to extend bed. I added pool noodle as padding. Disassembles easy. Adjusts easy. No complaints, seems sturdy and great price

Disappointed. First off when I opened the box, the only packing in the box was that the pins and etc. small parts were in heavy plastic and taped good to the other larger parts. other than that the larger other pieces were just wrapped in plastic without any other packing in the box. when I received the box it was wide open. the paint on the parts were scraped up and bent. I had to straighten out the bent parts to allow me to assemble them.The measurements were smaller than advertised. I chose to buy this item over others because comparing to others, this one was suppose to be the largest in the most vital areas. the adjustable width was suppose to be 49" max. It was 47 7/8" between the bottom of the uprights and only 48 1/4" at the top of the uprights. If it was a true 49" wide, a 4'x8' sheet of plywood or whatever would fit. The way it is now, that won't fit. One of the main reasons why I bought this one. In the adjustable height area, it was suppose to be 12" to 19". It's really only 9" to 17". The hitch arm measurements were pretty close.where the main parts fit together they are very loose. Could have been a tighter fit. Very shaky or sloppy but I'm sure it will do the job.I'm sure it will do the job I purchased it for and any other jobs I do with it I'll just have to make do.I gave the ratings I did because of the misrepresenting the measurements, the loose tolerances where the parts fit together, and the condition I received it in and what I had to do to assemble it.
