Great hard water chelating shampoo! Removes mineral deposits that cause chemically processed or chlorine damaged hair to become brittle & split. It also helps smooth the cuticle of the hair shaft, improving smooth texture & shininess. It also makes hair less tangly & "sticky" when it's wet, giving it better slip when combing it out after a wash. I used it all up & will reorder. I use it regularly, about one every week or so. It does what it is supposed to do, so I feel the value is good. It smells good. Malibu has a freat reputation because it does what it is supposed to do.

I purchased the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo specifically as a chelating shampoo to help remove hard water buildup, and it has worked really well for that purpose. After using it, I can clearly tell a difference in the texture of my hair — it feels cleaner, lighter, and less weighed down. I only use this about once every 6 weeks as part of a clarifying routine, and it does a great job without over-drying my hair. Compared to other chelating or clarifying shampoos I’ve tried, this one feels less harsh while still being effective. It also has a pleasant scent and lathers nicely, which makes it easy to work through the hair evenly. Overall, this is a great option for removing mineral buildup from hard water, especially if you want something effective but still gentle enough for occasional use.

Will forever buy this product ! We have such harsh hard water and this is the only product that truly helps . If you’ve been thinking of buying you definitely should. I also have weft extensions. It helps keep them nice and soft and in good shape . Super conditioning & has a good smell..

Wow this seems to work and believe me I am very skeptical about products. I bought the small travel size bottle to try before investing in a full size bottle because it is on the pricey side. I live in a city with hard water so decided to give this a try and my hair is really soft and manageable. The only thing I am not sure about is how often to use it as I do not want to use it for each shampoo. I have seen some people say they use it once per week, some once per month, etc. so I guess I will just have to see what works best for me with the water in my area. This works much better than just a clarifying shampoo as it removes the iron and other minerals that build up with hard water.

product is great however it came leaking. not enough to go through the whole return process but the outside was covered in it and when I opened the cap there wasnt any seal on it so thats concerning but im too lazy and impatient so it is what it is.

Amazing product! So happy to stumble upon this. My hair has never looked this shiny or healthy. I used the treatment first and then the shampoo. I've used the shampoo twice since the treatment and hair is looking and feeling so much better. It's also helped with my itchy scalp. Top pic is right after washing with my regular Biolage. Bottom is after the first treatment and wash with this shampoo. Just be sure you use cool water to right rinse after the shampoo to close the hair before applying conditioner. The hair is open and ready to soak up whatever you put back on it after the shampoo. Rinse rinse and rinse some more for best results.

This item is great. This is a repeat buy, but first from Amazon. The product itself has been a game changer for me. I have naturally “dirty” blonde hair, but also have extremely hard water with lots of iron that over time build up of those deposits turned my hair a very gross brassy color. Every time I went to the salon to try and color it to improve it, it turned a horrible ash/green. So after doing some research, I decided it was worth trying. It was wise investment, 💯! Full disclosure: I first bought the Hard Water Wellness kit, and have been using the shampoo (and conditioner) consistently since. My hair feels and looks better than it has in years. It’s a decent size bottle for what it does, and it has a yummy orange cream fragrance that is amazing! It’s worth every penny. The only issue I have with it coming from Amazon was that the cap was not sealed tight and some leaked out. Luckily, it was a short span of time to get to me and not much was lost to the box.

My hair looks so oily and dead but when I realized it's because of hard water and gave this shampoo a try, my hair went back to how it was before. This is now my standard shampoo and will buy more next time when I ran out of Malibu C shampoo again.

This shampoo lathers beautifully & left my scalp feeling squeaky clean, but not stripped and straw like. I have low porosity hair that is prone to build up + well water, so having a shampoo that combats both of these issues is amazing! Love! And a great scent.
