Good enough considering OEM isn’t available
The product fits well and is relatively easy to install, aside from the center console disassembly. Being plastic, it’s obviously flimsy and is of less quality than oem, but it was the best I could find for the price since an oem part seems unavailable.

Does not fit/Poor Quality
Just an FYI: the part is cheap for a reason. The plastic is obviously very flimsy and it is also too wide to fit on its own. You will need to trim the piece so that it fits into the shifter. This sucks to find out after spending the time to disassemble your entire console. It also does not come with the shifter indicator strip which was an oversight on my end. I would return it but now it’s too late. Waste of money.

Perfect, but make the time to install this
I drive a 2009 Ford Mustang she’s a V6, the original panel for the shifter started breaking in pieces, and I could barely shift it into any of the gears my boyfriend gladly replaced it with this guy, shifts nice and smooth again, the only thing is that if you have the red light indicator for what gear you are in it does not appear with this one. It’s just all white lights on all of the gears so hopefully you know what gear you’re in by the sound I’ve driven this car for 4 years so I know what gear I’m in by the feel, so it’s not an issue for me. Perfect fit. I definitely recommend looking up a video to install this. You have to take apart the entire center console. It is not an easy task. It took my man about two hours and he is a certified technician.

You will need to trim it.
It is too thin for what it is used for, and it needs to be carefully trimmed. That said, it currently works, but probably not for too long.

Item too wide
Bought for my 2005 Mustang GT. Had to trim a few mm from each side so that it would fit in the channel. Length was fine.

THIN COVER ONLY. Not a replacement.
Disappointed with the quality of this thin cover. It is thin plastic and does not include the orange gear indicator marker that the original part is connected to. NOT A REPLACEMENT! Cover piece only. Not a $20+ value.
