Happy so far! Exactly what I ordered and needed and described.
Everything is exactly what was described online. Glad I went with the full kit including radio and harnesses. I still had some wires to connect so it wasn’t completely plug and play but it was simple. Match up the plugs. Match the same colored wires to join.My 2012 F150 radio started going out and finally stopped working with a continuous flashing clock display which prompted me to make this replacement/upgrade.I was very grateful for the video from Stinger Off-road that is on the Amazon listing as well. Definitely could have slowed down on the wiring part and shown the assembly wires together better for me as the viewer but I figured it out.I was a tad disappointed in the main faceplate replacement as the cigarette lighter spot wasn’t cut properly (pictured) and I had to trim with a knife myself. I also noticed the same for the hazard light button (I still need to trim as the buttons stick as if the cutout wasn’t big enough and is too snug a fit).I was not able to successfully retain the steering wheel controls yet but I believe that’s my fault and must be the accessory power wire that the install video mentions to splice in the fuse box that I skipped (I’ll be reaching out to customer support for help with that and will update my review). All in all a great product so far and exactly what I hoped for. I saw a previous review about lack of Bluetooth function that made me wary at first but this simply isn’t true. I can completely take phone calls and listen to music all via Bluetooth using the radio as advertised with information displayed on the radio. The additional features referenced about Apple/Android CarPlay are via USB which is also included with the radio and specified in the product description. I have not tested this function yet but will update my review as I use it. This is my initial review upon completing my install at 11pm last night and it has not even been 24 hours yet. Hope this helps someone else who is on the fence about purchasing themselves. I actually wanted a Kenwood radio but for the price and same features and all parts coming from the same seller including the install video just made sense to get the complete kit and radio through Stinger Off-road here on Amazon. Thanks!**Update**8/11/22Apple Car play functionality is amazing! My sound in my vehicle has also improved since I can customize it more to my liking. The radio has exceeded my expectations and I’m overall very happy. Still need to figure out what I did wrong to maintain steering wheel controls but aside from that and the faceplate cutouts needed to be better I have zero complaints about this radio and kit. I would certainly recommend and purchase again.

Good unit, with a catch or two
The unit works as advertised in a 2011 F-150 Lariat. It's actually a Grundig GX-3800 head unit so you can look that up for the specifics of the stereo. Does support Android Auto and Apple Car Play...Catch 1: It is a stereo first and foremost and does have all normal radio functionality on it's own, but the magic happens when a phone is plugged into it either by Bluetooth or USB. It does not have stand-alone phone, app, or GPS capability. Those are derived from it's "phone mirror" feature. No biggie, but a slight learning curve for us older folks.Physical installation is pretty easy as long as you've got your mind right to the fact that aftermarket products often require at least minor tweaking. The newly provided center console face plate is no exception due to excess plastic from the injection molding process. 5 mins worth of Dremel sanding and a box cutter had it right as rain in a jiffy with no tool marks visible after install.Catch 2: My truck has faux wood interior paneling and the new center console ONLY comes in matte black to my knowledge. Pictured. I don't personally care, but some people might. The installation videos are honestly awesome...to a point. The provided wiring harness (in the video) is quickly deep six'd for a writing harness that IS NOT PROVIDED.Catch 3: For this truck, ended up needing a PAC RP4-FD11 wiring harness, available at Crutchfield.com, for about $170.End result is it's relatively quick and easy install with the correct wiring harness, but with added expense.Stereo works and has much added functionality that the factory set-up never had in the first place. With the correct, although expensive wiring harness, maintained all steering wheel functionality.

No wireless connection for android auto and apple carplay
Wish i wouldve known before i bought this unit. Android auto and apple carplay will only work by connecting your phone to the usb cable. Tried finidng adapters to make the connection wireless but everything says its for the OEM radios on the cars. Wish they had a list of the adapters that would work with this product.

Not Impressed, too much trouble
I have had this installed for @ 4 months now and really should have spent the little extra on a nicer unit. I have my second call in for warranty issues right now. Unit shuts down randomly when using the wired Android Auto connection and changes modes, channel on the radio and goes to full volume for no reason.

Nice Kit and Radio
Was missing gps Antenna. Other than that it is a nice kit and easy install.

Alot of work, but worth it in the end.
It was a lot more work than I though it was going to be(last radio I ever changed was a 99 grand Cherokee single din) but I got through it. Watch the YouTube videos and called the seller for help when it came to installing a back up camera where I hit a dead end scratching my head. They pointed me in the right direction and I got it working correctly. I guess this is like the Chinese version of clarion but it works good. Did lose some functions on the steering wheel because I couldn’t figure out how to program the adapter. Overall I would buy and install again. Also I mounted the mic in the corner of where the old top display was.

Ford F150 2012 XLT
Installing is the easiest part. Removing trim & wiring will take you the most time. Looks clean, Bluetooth does work however, Apple CarPlay is finicky.

Air play works good when plugged in, not worth more than a boss
The awesome videos they have on the listing make it seem like an all in one kit to install made specific for the f150 but it was no more than a metro install kit and a cheap android China head unit that also has apple. It’s working well in my truck after a ton of headaches to get it working.I’ve installed many I it’s in all my vehicles and this is the only one I had to ever take to a shop to actually get working.. I will replace with my usual pioneer avh series whenever this overpriced unit dies
