Great oil
Read somewhere not use this oil to revive dried out printer ribbons. Gave it a try and it works great. Bought a new printer but the ribbon was dried out and this made the ribbon usable again. Have also used it on items needing a light oil that won't dry out. Has many uses beside sewing machines.

Its oil, it lubricates and it was shipped quickly and helped me get an old Singer 301a working
In this day and age with gas prices it is cheaper by far in time and money to find these here and have them delivered if you have prime. I do and I ordered it to save me about 2 gallons of gas going to buy one fairly locally. The oil arrived sealed and in good shape. I used it on the bits inside a Singer 301a I had just bought and wouldn't work. After oiling and moving the gears around by hand, the gears all broke free and the machine purrs like a kitten. I still need to get some gear grease but at least now I know the machine runs. I don't know a thing about oil except its greasy so all I can say is, this worked for what I needed it to do and I'm happy with the purchase. I will probably never have to buy oil like this again, so the little bottle will be on the shelf waiting for the next time I need it.

Opening it was tricky
I bought this to use on my supposably new SINGER heavy Duty 44S because my machine didn't come with any. It was supposed to but it was not in the box. I think my machine was used and the big box store where I purchased it taped it up as new and resold it after it was returned since items like oil, tool kit and manual were gone, and the machine came already threaded. Anyway, I am having to buy the stuff that was missing including some oil. This bottle will probably last me a lifetime since it only takes a drop or two. It came inside a small ziplock bag in case of leaks. I applied the oil (two drops) in the hole under the bobbin case. So far, that is the only place I have come across to put oil. I know there are more places to oil but a manual for my "new" sewing machine was among the missing items. I have no idea if the oil works or not. One can only hope. To open press down toward the back of the spigot. Don't try to find a ridge and rub back on it like you would a lighter fluid lid. There is no ridge. It's as smooth as a baby's bottom. You have to apply pressure on the back of the spigot to lift pour spout slightly so you are able to grab it and pull up. Happy oiling.

Great oil for sewing machines, inexpensive.
I bought this because my sewing machine (Husqvarna) needed some cleaning and lubrication. It worked well for this purpose. Singer brand was recommended by my mother, who was an avid seamstress hobbyist for decades. It seems to have good value for money. I was also able to use it to oil a squeaky computer mouse wheel.

Machine oil works great.
I had an issue of my machine making the power noises, and i had to take off the plate and take out the bobbin holder to dusted out and oil it up. Good as new. This is my second bottle. The first one is getting low because i dont store it properly and it tends to leak. Ill be buying a more precise bottle for this because its hard to get in with some of the crevices due to the size of the nozzle. But the oil works.

BETTER THAN WD-40!
My kids, my animals, and I are sensitive to the smell of WD40 and I wanted something that works great and odorless and OMG I wish I would have found this sooner!! This makes everything silent! No creaks or squeaks!! If you're having issues opening it, be sure to use a butter knife or tweezers to lift the red tip thing. It's weird but it's a small trade off! I recommend it!!
